When Life Happens
Hello Everyone,
I hope you don't mind me sharing. This week has been a particularly hard week. I received a call Tuesday saying my sister was in emergency surgery to have both of her legs amputated because of an infection that was in her feet and causing her blood to become septic. Needless to say it was devastating news and I was so afraid because I already lost a sister to cancer. I've been at the hospital so I haven't been working on my WA site.
I just want to say I know first hand that life happens and you have setbacks but even with the setbacks we have to remember our why. Our why for doing the things we do. With that being said things settled down today and I remembered my why for doing the things I do. That includes my why for joining WA. I believe this is an opportunity to make a better life for myself and my family. Sure, I'm realistic to know that it won't be overnight or even months, heck it could take a couple of years but I know if I keep at it I will succeed.
Now, I have even more motivation to succeed because I have things I want to do for my sister. She is such a trooper and is determined to live the independent life that she has always lived. I am so inspired by her. I just want to say when life happens we can't give up, we have to remember our why and keep on keeping on doing the things we need to do to succeed.
Be Blessed,
Toni

Hi Toni...sending healing thoughts and prayers to you and your sister.
Thanks for sharing your difficult experience with your WA family.
Your determination is what will see you through the hurdles, there will be more along the way, but you know you can overcome them. This isn’t a race and there’s no time limit on achieving success.
I wish you all the best.

Thank you KyleAnn, Having this community to share things with and the encouragement you receive is very important because it is inspiring to see people you don't know take the time to give you a
caring word. Sometimes, it's those things that help a person get through a day.
Bless you
So sorry to hear about your sister Toni. You have kept your motivation through all this which is a good thing. I wish you and your sister all the best.

You have an amazing attitude in life, it will take you far. I am sorry to hear of your sister's health, I hope with the support of her loved ones that she will get through the recovery and stay positive for the road ahead. I wish her and you family all the best.

Thank you Mary. It will be a long hard road, but we will make it. My sister said to me today that "some people have things way harder than she does". All I can say is she inspires me. Take care.
Blessings to you and your sister. You both have a terrific attitude to move forward.

Hi, Toni. I am so sorry this has happened to your sister; I know this is a difficult time, and I will be praying for her.
You are correct. Sometimes it can be hard, but we need to keep doing all the things that help us get closer to achieving success!
God bless you!

Hey Toni,
Sorry to hear about your sister. I was a teacher for special needs children and they would just amaze me with their determination. These kids didn't want your pitty but they did Not know the meaning of the words "you can't do that".

So sorry to hear about your sister. But you are so right, it is our own personal happiness and the path we choose to follow in life that causes us to make the choice that we make. I am putting more effort into my sites than ever before because I want to have the chance to enjoy life with my husband instead of working to make someone else rich. Life is too short and we need to find the path that suits us the best so we can make the most of it!
Thank you and you are right to be putting in the effort to make a better life for you and your husband and I believe you will do it. Never give up.
All the best to you!
