Must the credit be on the image or is it okay to have the credit at the end of the post that the image references. Not everyone will see the credit unless they follow the link.

I put mine under the picture, but adding it at the bottom of your post is ok too.

Thank you, Gordi.

Hi, have you seen this tutorial by angie. I'm hoping it can help you to do what you want to do

Can you say something like 'follow link for photo credits'?

That may be a good solution, Rosie. I can't wait to get a new memory card for my camera so I can take my own pictures. This photo credit thing is complicated and to me a little risky anyway you look at it. Crazy thing is I see so many websites with great pictures and no credits. Am I reading too much into it??

No, a lot of times they 'pay' for the pictures...or are just hoping they don't get caught...lol

If you pay for pictures you don't need credit

I wish I knew if there is a preferred way. I am following this hoping someone with more expertise will chime in to enlighten us.

I do mine at the bottom of my posts. The site I download my images from says to have the credit somewhere on the page. Doesn't specify where so I put a heading of "photo credits:" and then put the credits under the heading.

What site are you using for photos?

Recently, I have been using PhotoBin. It gives the credits right on the download.

Cool

I have no idea if on way is better or not, may be what works best for you.

I know I have seen it done both ways and I have read hear at WA it can be done either way but I don't know if one is preferable over the other!
