Computer Slow Start Up - This One Not Mechanical

Last Update: January 14, 2015

Computer Slow Start Up Alert - Not the machine the operator is malfunctioning!

I just can't seem to get geared up for action this new year. To say I have had a slow start on my business is an understatement.

Time for action!

I have not been totally "inactive" these first couple of weeks so I don't feel worthless. I have read two books on diet. Specifically, eating correctly for my blood type. I have read the books before and they required a pretty drastic change in eating habits for me. My blood type requires an almost totally vegetarian diet, not something I am accustomed to for sure.

I decided this year I will start eating healthier. One thing that really blows my mind is how much more healthy foods cost. It's like we are encouraged to be obese. Well, I decided I am worth healthier food purchases. All I have to do now is start making more with my business.

I, also, tried to set up a calender and schedule for blogging. I struggled with this for the last two weeks and finally decided with the granddaughter's schedule right now (she doesn't really have one) I just can't dedicate certain times for working on WA. I have to just work whenever I can. I was spending so much time working on a good calendar during the only times I really had to work on my site that the calender was an EPIC FAIL! I had got more work done when I didn't have it. So out with that idea.

Isn't funny how some people (like me) think that because it is a new year we have to try all these new things at once. It's like the calender doesn't hang there all year staring us in the face. Putting up a new one sparks some kind of strange idea that changing everything will make one better. Wrong. And stressful.

I am past the craziness but I will do my best to eat healthier. Eating healthy is said to prevent Alzheimer's and that is what my website is about so I need to actually be doing what I preach.

I saw my mother over the holidays. She is still going strong. Her memory continues to deteriorate but she is always happy and smiling. I count my blessings. Many of the items on the diet I have been reading about are the very foods she tried to feed me years ago. It's kind of fun finally doing something my mom told me would be good for me. Maybe, I am finally old enough to enjoy them, they say your taste buds change as you age. Eating healthier has actually started to make me feel better, an added plus.

Time to get working on my business.

Rayma

Rayma I think your niche is highly valuable as a service. So many can benefit from quality information and tested theories.
I wish you well...and as Rico7 would say...don't prepare to write posts, just write posts! Happy new year. J

Rayma-mother knows best :)
She's always looked out for you.
Yes organic foods is sooo much better for you.
There are a few sites here dedicated to this topic.
Might be a little more expensive ,but it is your body.
I think I read somewhere that in 2008 organic food was a 1 Billion $ revenue. Today that figure has jumped to 28 Billion.
I like your comment to Debi(Sui-generis)
Ian has mentioned a good site :)

Thank you, Papi. My husband is complaining a little about the jump in the grocery bill but I think once I stock up on some things healthy the bill will stabilize again. Heck, all groceries are outrageous these days. I will learn what I like and don't like that will help eliminate some purchases. Good thing he is an extremely understanding chap. :)

Good post! It is amazing how the body is created to heal itself if we will just get rid of the chemicals and the food items so perverted from the way they were created that attack our health and start eating living, clean foods. Best wishes to you accomplishing all your goals! Christa

Good read. I agree with the high price of the healthy food. But it does help us feel better. I guess we just do the best we can, at eating right and our business. :)

You'll never be on schedule, but it makes us all feel good to think we're working on the problem.

It's really kind of crazy. I realized this a long time ago and let it discourage me from eating right. That is not something this great country should be doing to it's citizens. The healthy stuff should be the cheapest then more people could feel better and we wouldn't need all these programs to fight obesity. Why does everything have to be backwards? I sure don't see our government fighting to bring down the cost of healthy foods.

As I'm responding, I agree with you but I see IMc has provided a link to a cookery blog that might be helpful to us.
