Why are the page speeds for my post so slow?

It could be that the videos are causing it to load slow, especially if they are youtube videos. 3 videos for one post is a bit extreme, I try to stick with one video only to prevent slow speeds.
Thanks, Maria.
The only thing is that the videos are very relevant to the topic. I would prefer not to remove them as it makes the post less impactful.
Also, I'm still wondering how to reconcile the fact that they load fine on my own laptop and phone. Surely with such low speed scores (3 on mobile), I'd notice at least a slight delay in loading.
PM me your page URL and I will tell you how it loads for me. I have 4 different internet connections, from super fast to super slow. I can let you know how it loads for each one if you like. If it loads fast on my super slow connection, then I would say you have nothing to worry about!
Thank you, Maria for testing my post.
If anyone is interested, the results showed that my page loaded very quickly even on her super slow connection.
So while that's good news for me, it doesn't shed light on why there is such a discrepancy between how the page actually loads and the results of the sitemanger speed tests.
Ok, now I am confused....I am trying to see what you mean by sitemanager. The sitemanger under websites, where you login? How do you check the speed? I've never used that feature here lol.
Click on Websites > Site Manager from the left dashboard.
Find your site and at the bottom of that section, you will see options for Login, Refresh, View,... Details. Click on Details.
Scroll down to PageSpeed Insights.
You'll see all your website pages/posts listed. On the far right of that table, click Test or whatever it says (I don't know what it says since mine all say Refresh because I've already tested them).
Then you'll get loading speed results for desktop and mobile.
But as we've found, it appears those results may not be entirely reliable so... test them for what it's worth. But I'd trust your set up over these results, for sure.
Thank you Toby, WA is so full of features I completely overlooked this one. I'll most certainly be using it in the future, THANKS for the help!!

I received confirmation emails from WA when my about page and policy page were indexed. I also received an email when my fourth post was indexed. I did not receive emails for m
Hi - if you search in Google using site:mydomain.com it will show you which posts are indexed. (Replacing mydomain.com with your own domain, of course).
Thanks, Diane.
I did just that and they are all there. I guess this means I shouldn't worry if I don't get a confirmation email from WA.
Hi did you do google fetch on google search console? Did you request indexing? Sometimes it can take a little longer. One time I waited like 4 days.
By Fetch, I believe it has changed to "URL Inspection". Is that correct? If so, I did it for my third and fourth articles and then I went back and did it for my first article (forgot about the second one). Should I try again?
So should I be receiving a confirmation email from WA whenever a post gets indexed?
