Detours
Once again I find myself with a detour ahead. Am I going to let this stop me from achieving my goals? No! I made that mistake once and I really don't want a repeat.
Detour # 1
I left Wa almost 3 years ago due to an uncertain future. You see I was diagnosed with EHE. I had no insurance at the time and many tests and possible surgery were in my future and no way to pay for it.
With my future and finances uncertain I decided to leave WA. Now I wonder where I would be if I had stuck with it? Would my website be a success? Would I be making money that was desperately needed?
But no use in getting caught up with the "what if". Today is what is important.. My health issues have not gone away but my mindset has changed. The EHE motto is "Just Live"
What Is EHE?
Epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, a mouthful isn't it? EHE is a rare cancer that grows from the cells that make up the blood vessels. It can be found anywhere in the body but the most common sites are the liver, lungs, and bone. I had 3 small tumors in my liver. There is not a whole lot known about this cancer with it being so rare. Some live with it for years and some don't.
I happened to be one of the lucky ones. Mine was not aggressive. I had an ablation of the tumors a year ago this past February. I do have to have scans every 6 months to keep an eye on it but right now the tumors are encapsulated and not active.
Remember the motto of EHE? "Just Live" And that is exactly what I am going to do! But then we come to the next detour.
Detour # 2
I will be undergoing surgery tomorrow related to my Crohn's Disease. I am not sure exactly what the surgeon will do. There are 2 options. The easy one and the more difficult one. He will not know until he "gets in there". I'm hoping for the easy solution. So I am uncertain of how I will be feeling in the next week or so. So work on the website may have to be on hold for a little bit. ON HOLD! I am not quitting!
I am not an eloquent writer and I had trouble finding relevant images to add to this post. I am not writing this for sympathy. That is the last thing I want. I just want to make the point that with the right mindset you can do anything. Never quit. Find the path around the detour and you will be back on the road again!

I was about to say that I am sorry for your health issues but I realised that you already have a positive, strong determine mindset that has proven the test of time
If you believe I'm prayers, I will say that God got you already in his hands and that he already knows your outcome

I want to add an update. The surgery went well. The surgeon opted for the easy solution. I just have to make sure that I follow the restrictions to keep stitches in place, If not then will have to go the difficult route. I am feeling pretty good just a little soreness but nothing I cant handle. I managed to write 2 articles last night and published on my website. I am currently researching a new article and hope to write it in the next couple of days.
