Wealthy Affiliate Financial Goals
I realized it might be easy to lose track of what I entered in the "What Are Your 'Money' Goals?" discussion, so I figured I'd keep a copy in here too. This is in relation to what my online/affiliate marketing goals are.
Q: How much money would you be happy earning?
A: $2,000 per month.
Q: How much would you be ecstatic earning?
A: $10,000 per month.
Q: How much TIME are you willing to invest to achieve these goals?
A: 10 hours per week at the moment.
As of August 2014, I'm at almost $150 per month. This is primarily through AdSense on 5 of my 35 sites. Most of them have been neglected for too long and need some TLC.
As for a timeline on those goals...
- 3 Months: $250/month
- 6 Months: $500/month
- 12 Months: $1,000/month
- 18 Months: $2,000/month
- 24 Months: $5,000/month
- 36 Months: $10,000/month
I believe applying the training in here, and what I've picked up elsewhere, will get me there. It would be great to get there faster, but I need to get to my first goal first.

They are all over the spectrum. I've got many more domains that I just haven't done anything with yet. I built most of them for AdSense revenue. I walk through a bookstore and look at what's up in self-help or how-to, do some keyword checking, then buy the domains that look like they might work.
I've got 2 sites (highly targeted keywords) that only get 2-5 visitors a day, but almost always get at least 1 click from them in the $1.50 - $3.00 range.
I've been finding product type sites work best. I really need to start trying to set up Amazon affiliate sites.
Congrats on your success already and you're right, the training here will most definitely help. I would recommend picking one or two of those websites and putting all of your energy into them, especially given the time you have available. All the best to your success.

It is a bit to manage. I've got one primary site, that is my wife's blog, that we've been running for 4 years. We've got some big plans for it over the next couple months. The others are small sites that I've often started, but never put enough effort into. At the moment, it pays for the hosting and registrations, and most of the themes & plugins I've purchased, but it's not covering my time cost yet.
