Embracing Change: A New Chapter in My Journey
Hi everyone,
Life has a way of steering us in new directions, often when we least expect it. Recently, I’ve experienced some significant changes that have reshaped my focus and priorities.
Focusing on Two Websites
Firstly, I decided not to renew one of my old website domains.
(screenshot: email to inform me of expired domain)
Instead, I’ve chosen to concentrate on two websites that truly resonate with my passions. One promotes Wealthy Affiliate and digital marketing, while the other delves into meditation and all things spiritual. I’m thrilled to share that my spiritual website is thriving, attracting a growing audience who share my interests.
Lesson Learned: Better to Focus on One Website
In the past, I did four websites at the same time. My thought was: Do all four and see which one does well, then focus on that one. Well, it did kind of work out that way for me. After years, I learned which websites did better for me. In retrospect, I should have just done one website first. Grown it, then do the next one. Spent too much time and energy. On the positive side, I learned which niche is best for me.
A Break from Teaching
The past two months have been a whirlwind of teaching, leaving me with little time for anything else. However, last week and the upcoming two weeks are free from classes. This break is a welcome opportunity to rest and dedicate time to creating content for my websites.
Embracing a Quieter Life
Another noticeable change is the quietness in my life. I hardly hear from my friends these days. Despite my efforts to reach out, their responses have been brief, suggesting they are busy with their own lives. I’ve come to accept this and decided not to bother them further.
Surprisingly, I find solace in this quieter lifestyle. It allows me to focus on my writing, content creation, occasional teaching, and even some gardening. Embracing this peaceful routine has brought a sense of fulfillment and balance to my life.

Looking Forward
Change can be daunting, but it also opens doors to new opportunities and growth. I’m excited to see where this journey takes me and to continue sharing my experiences with you all.
I wish you good health.
Tim

Sometimes, we just have to slow down and step back. I have three websites, two of which I am actively working on, and I am unsure whether I will continue with the third. It is only in the beginning stages, so it is not a huge loss of time. I like you enjoy the quieter life, which is one of the reasons I am unsure about building out the third website.
Best of luck, Tim and good to hear from you again.
Nancy
Hi Nancy,
Good to hear from you too.
Yes, it is good to slow down. And live life.
I understand the pull to do more websites. If your 2 websites are doing well, and you can manage a 3rd, then why not? For me, I found managing 4 websites stretching me too thin. So, it went down to 3 few years back. And a couple of years, down to 2. Now, finally I deleted that 3rd website that I had not worked on for a few years.
All the best to you, too.
I wish you good health.

Life is a constant cycle of learning Tim. I'm sure you can find better words to describe it.
I always put mistakes down as training courses.
Tim has just finished a training course on why he should not have four websites on the go at the same time.
See ... that sounds really positive now.
Take care

Hi Bux,
Yes, it has been a lesson for me.
In fact, I had the thought: maybe this is something of value that I can teach others?
I wish you good health.
Tim
It is a good thing to pass on to others Tim. There will be some new members making the same errors, swamping themselves with many websites because it looks good on paper.
Look after yourself my friend

Good for you! You've identified your priorities and embraced them.
As we get older, our circle of friends definitely gets smaller for one reason or another. It's just a natural part of life. Now is when you will find out who your true one or two friends are, or perhaps make a new one who will be there for many years to come.
Relax and enjoy!
Hi Jeannine,
So true.
I am comfortable with staying in touch with a few friends. I have never been comfortable with large groups.
I wish you good health.

Hello Tim,
So good to hear from you :)
I am so excited to know your spiritual website is attracting a a lot of attention, I am certain of this because you have come so far in your own personal journey and reflections of needing peace and serenity.
Yes I agree that some friends can get caught up in their own life and sometimes feel like they fall away, but I am sure they still think upon you and their good times with you.
I totally love your orchids, this one with the purple is so delightful, gives me ideas of buying some to place in my patio.
I did start an orchid collection along time ago, but I tend to be consumed by my art and jewellery making at the moment haha it can be so rewarding any passion we follow.
Keep smiling Tim ,you are doing great things.
Kind regards
Erica
Hi Erica,
Thank you so much for your kind words! 😊 It means a lot to hear that my website is making an impact. Your support and encouragement are truly appreciated.
I completely understand how life can get busy and friends can drift apart, but it’s comforting to know that their thoughts are with me. Just as I always think fondly of them.
Yes, it is a good idea to add some orchids to your patio. I find it very nice to wake up and see my orchids in the morning.
It’s great to hear about your passion for art and jewelry making. It’s amazing how fulfilling our hobbies can be. Keep up the fantastic work, and thank you again for your lovely message.
Take care and keep smiling!
I wish you good health.
