Silencing The Doubter.
Recently I had someone in the TOP 50 make a sly and derogatory comment toward me. Here's what they said;

Having a mentor "who's been there and done that" is a big privilege Evan. A great plan means little without actions. I hope you're on the right track. Cheers.
I don't know about you, but personally I found this comment to be very rude. Implying that I didn't know what I was doing, and was making no progress.
It has been of my understanding that WA is all about supporting one another, rather than belittling, or insulting them.
No one joins WA because they are looking to find more doubters and haters!
I replied to this individual very much in the defensive. I stated that I had received that very day a $5000 bonus check. With no strings attached. Which would help to ensure a financially free Christmas.
I didn't share this then, nor do I now, with the intent to brag or look down on anyone. Rather I wanted to remind this individual and now everyone here at WA that you can't judge a book by its cover.
Just because you don't know what someone is up to doesn't mean they aren't taking action, or are on the wrong track. (All Made Possible because of My Grizzly Mentor)
As supportive as WA is, many are struggling to find success...
I realize that many feel frustrated by the struggle they face in an effort to build the online business they have always dreamt of, and I feel sorry for them.
Having a mentor is a big privilege! I wish more people could share such a privilege with me.
I'm lucky enough to have a Grizzly Mentor, cause if I was left solely to trust the WA community for support...lets just say the often promoted results, just aren't typical.
Instead of doubters and haters, I have a Grizzly Mentor how believes in me, and pushes me to become more than I am. My Mentor helps me know what I need to do, and how to do it. Yes he's been there before. He has conquered the forest, and has been ever improving...
Through teaming up with My Grizzly Mentor I will be able to accomplish what most would only dream of.

I did not take the comment as being derogatory. I did not even take it to be directed toward you. I took the comment as a statement of fact. I do agree however that sometimes the most knowledgeable people don't have time to read everyone's question so you don't always get the best answer. My suggestion is to get three or four very knowledgeable people and ask them directly. People who have been you're more than a year are your best bets. May I suggest Marion Black, Loes, Joseph, and Labman.

If someone implied you made derogatory comment and that was not your intention wouldn't you naturally reassured them that the feelings your statement brought were unintended. Yet it's been days, and the individual in question made no such attempt.
I'm sure you'll understand that I don't have time to ask people questions, I have a Grizzly Mentor who's got my back. I'm sure they're great people, but I know my grizzlys track record, and am coming to see his beastly vision.
This no place for rudeness on this platform. Sorry to here about your situation. Perhaps the other person was just going through something. It's not an excuse but when people are going through a difficult situation, it's possible for them to take it out on someone else.

My Grizzly Mentor just saw your comment, and agreed with you. He shared with me that most doubters are those who have lost hope personally.

There will always be haters. It is indeed too bad, but kudos to you for standing up and speaking!
Thanks for your comments. I agree with you haters will be unavoidable. No matter what the subject or view point. At the end of the day hard work, honesty, and the legitimate truth will be all that stand after the test of time.
And I see it important to stand up for ones self from time to time. Sure not every ill word need spark a retort, but one should be careful as to defend their name, and the validity of the path they have taken. Especially if that path is one that will help others as well.

Reminds me of earlier endeavors of mine where many friends openly doubted me, thought I was crazy. Was a real downer, but fortunately, I was so busy with the new endeavors, I didn't have time to ruminate on their comments. I just moved on.
Glad to hear that you didn't let those comments get you down and stop you in your tracks. As much as our journey through the forest of internet marketing is challenging the potential is ever before us. Power to you.
