When Do You Blog? What part of the day do you find best to write content?

I've been blogging for a couple of months now and I thought it would be interesting to see how others spend their time blogging.

I have been trying to get into a mindset that will help me focus on the tasks at hand and when the most productive time to be creative is and then use that time to provide excellent content.

I go to sleep thinking about the content I will write next and what I want to get completed with the time I have available.

Morning.

As soon as light hits my window I'm awake. Turn on the laptop and go make a brew. Scan my emails, hoping to see a huge list of commission payment emails and when that dream ends it's back to chipping away at the bigger plan.

I have my shower, then a second cup of tea with some toast and get dressed for success. While doing this I am writing content or thinking of the next section. Don't want my laptop getting wet while I shower so great time to reflect on what you are doing.

I have found I enjoy and produce more content at this time. It is my time for writing.

Afternoon.

English literature was never my best subject so by lunchtime, I need a change.

Also working from home I need to set breaks or I will zone out and do nothing productive. I make some lunch and brew number 3. I need motivation so I use the lunch hour to watch an episode of Gold Rush. These guys have a hard time but the rewards if you hit the right spot can pay ounces of gold an hour.

I have used this show and its characters to blueprint my business. We are in the digital gold rush and people are getting rich just like they are. People are failing all the time too. In gold mining, you can lose millions. In my world, I only lose what I invest and that is time and not a lot of money.

Failure for them costs big time. Failure for me teaches me a lesson I learn from. So how do I copy the blueprint? I watch and learn from the ones who know what they are talking about and produce results to back up exactly what they said. Awesome!

Evening.

This is the time when I spend time being sociable. I'm single, over 50, skint and lodging in a room while sharing the rest of the house. It's not great but it's a roof and keeps me safe.

So me being sociable is hitting the sites I use and interacting with others who share my interests. Offer help to others while browsing if I can.

See what's happening in my niche, do training, answer emails, send emails or add email sequences to my autoresponder, and search for pictures to insert into my blog to make it more appealing than just plain text.

Night

This is the time when I'm ready to wind down. I have two PPC sites that I use to advertise links while earning commissions by adding their link to my sponsor page.

I click a few pages and view someone's affiliate product, offer or website and in return another member will see my sales page, offer, capture page or any page I want to show.

I still use the FREE membership so I need to do about half-hour with 2 explorer windows open. Each window is connected to the side of your screen side by side so you can see 2 offers at the same time while allowing the timer to run down.

I have safelists too that I spend some time opening emails. I have learned a technique that allows me to open multiple emails at once which saves time waiting for the timer to expire. You can easily build up your credits to mail the list.

Conclusion.

As I relax, I put on a film thinking about tomorrow. I know the film will knock me out better than any sleeping tablet. I am lucky to have all the time to do this. Others have to do other things in order to survive. So it would be interesting to see how members use the time available to them and how they use that time.
