When i activate SSL certificate in my site, the access to Wordpress becomes very slow, sometimes i'd wait for the page for a long time !
Is there any known issue with this
No its not ssl for sure could be down to your images not having https:// you can always contact site-support or got
to google console they will tell you too what your problem is ;-)

Yes site-support will tell you straight away what the problem is. As will google console.

I checked Google Console, everything is alright ! No errors shown in the console.

Definitely not an issue with SSL
