I completely agree with this idea. You can actually feel it when you are in sync with your purpose. It's more than just excitement or just a rush of adrenaline. It's something more. It's almost like nothing can hurt you. It is staying on that path that is the hardest thing to do. 2 weeks ago I removed myself from all social media that was nothing but a time suck. Since then, even though I have been busier than I have ever been in my life, I have not once felt overwhelmed. Im calmer than ever and know exactly what I need to do. I try to keep this mantra in the back of mind at all times: "Take things slowly but do not stop moving one foot in front of the other and walk on a smooth level plane." That one sentence has driven me from having absolutely no purpose to knowing my exact purpose and following through with starting my new business, making sure I am in complete compliance with all laws and practices and take one each goal one at a time. I am a musician and photographer, but I could never grasp the business side of things. The main reason was I was scared. I was scared to ask for help. I was scared to find the right people. I was scared of failure. So what did I do... I failed. At least 5 major times in my adult life. Now I am 47, feel like I'm 21 and I have more confidence than ever. I signed up for My Wealthy Affiliate around 2 years ago. I knew I wasn't ready. I wasn't ready for anything. I had no purpose. I was in a major depression and I didn't even know it. Now in the last week I have done more work to better myself and get all my affairs in order and am ready to start utilizing WA along with my business and I look forward to wake up in the morning. Because just like it says to the right of this box I am writing in "Ultimately, It Is (My) Business" and I want to be proud of what I put out there in the world. So a huge thanks to everyone here at WA. Kyle I will begin with the advice you gave me 2 days ago and spend my time watching the videos, picking niches, getting traffic and I want to read everything everyone has to say here. I will be asking questions that I would never ask before and I know that even though I have been attempting affiliate marketing before the Internet even existed... I never felt anyone knew more than I did and when I think about that now I laugh out loud for real. Because I still barely know anything but the difference now is that I want to learn from others. I want to be told when I am doing something wrong. At WA I have found in just a couple days that is one of the best parts of this site!
