How Narrow Can Your Niche Be?
(Header image: An inspirational image for "How Narrow Can Your Niche Be?")
The world is your oyster. You choose how you want to play. Your niche can be ONE thing only. The more focused you are when starting, the better. Remember, your niche business can scale to unimaginable heights with traction and traffic.
For example:
- I have a site for strawberries, just strawberries.
- I have another for eggplants, just eggplants.
- I am thinking of doing kites, just kites.
You will find specific audiences for just strawberries, eggplants, or kites.
However, those same websites can be scaled over time. The sky's the limit, really. Most importantly, it would help if you were passionate and genuinely interested in your choice, which will encourage you to work on it.

That's one thing I remember from my first training here - find a niche your passionate about and start with that.
That's a good example, Abie - Strawberries! You can branch off from that niche: There's a variety of strawberries, seasons, recipes, different ways to grow them - the skies the limit! π

Absolutely... Also Print-on-Demand, my own Strawberries Tees, lol
Thank you, Isaiah :) π€π
Absolutely! That's a great suggestion. Also, as Canvas art or on Pillows... the sky's the limit! Isaiah :)
I agree, Abie.
Micro-niches can work very well, especially with Googleβs new ranking system. ππ

I am lol Thinking of heading to the beach for a little "me time" if my hubby doesn't mind lolol πββοΈπ¦π
I could try, lol. My hubby is very temperamental π€£π€£But certainly, it is a great idea!
I had a whole "me time" yesterday (jk) - I was busy elsewhere...
Hubby is workaholic like me, so temperamental when someone tries to change the workflow :)
It is challenging to find βme time,β when you work full time and are giving it all youβve got, Abie.
However, you seem to be taking some whenever possible. Even 15 minutes a day adds up at the end of the month.ππ

I like this. Very important information to know. It is so easy to look at the "big" picture first when we need to zoom in and start smaller. It has made me think a little bit more about one of my sites. I maybe need to narrow it down.
Thanks for the insight.
Karin
You can look at the Big Picture; however, work your way backward - Every business starts with baby steps.
Example:
Jeff Hoffman is the original owner of Booking .com and Priceline .com - Now Priceline is worth $80 billion - (Priceline was founded in 1997 )
By the way, I met Jeff in person during a summit in London many years back :)
You can tell us here if you like, we'll help out.
I appreciate your profound comment; thank you, Karin :) You have a great hump day.

Good insight, as usual, Abie!
