Are You Ready to Seize It?
What if I told you there are untapped opportunities in any niche you choose? My recent research in the music festival niche revealed possibilities that could transform my online business into a thriving passive revenue generator. How often have you heard of festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, or Tomorrowland? You know the big names—but have you ever wondered what else lies beneath the surface?
Opportunity Rating via Hubs Says: There's More. Much More.
So, what does the Opportunity Rating system do? It evaluates business ideas on a scale, helping you identify which niches are hot and which might cool off. When I applied it to my [specific] niche idea, I consistently saw ratings between 83 and 95, signaling a niche with serious potential.
But What Makes Music Festivals So Special?
Why should you care about this niche—or any other niche on your mind?
What sub-niches exist in the music festival world that no one talks about?
Think VIP festival experiences, eco-friendly festival products, festival fashion, or even gear for festival campers.
Could these sub-niches lead to 1,200+ pieces of unique content?
Absolutely! Imagine breaking down festival fashion by music genre or reviewing the best tents for different climates and festival locations. The content possibilities are endless; each piece could drive traffic, affiliate opportunities, and conversions.
How Can You Profit from These Sub-Niches?
Content > Traffic > Revenue Opportunities > Conversions.
Let's dive into some common questions related to my search. You can do the same for yours!
Q: How do you attract traffic to such a niche?
A: It's all about relevance and timing. Festival-goers constantly seek guides, tips, product recommendations, and experiences—especially in the weeks leading up to major festivals. You can tap into this excitement by creating targeted content and funneling it toward your affiliate programs.

Q: What revenue opportunities exist in this niche?
A: Think affiliate links for camping gear, festival fashion, and event tickets—sponsorships from companies aiming to reach festival-goers. You could even create digital products like festival packing lists or insider guides.
Q: How do you convert casual visitors into paying customers?
A: Through high-quality, relevant content that answers their questions—even before they know what to ask. Solve their festival-related problems, offer valuable tips, and then guide them to affiliate products that enhance their experience.
Why am I laughing my head off (LMHO)?
Because once you dive into this niche—or any niche you choose—you'll see what I see: abundant potential for those who seek it. With dozens of sub-niches, each brimming with revenue possibilities, my particular music festival niche is ready for a savvy online entrepreneur to capitalize on its endless growth opportunities.

How did you know to look up this niche? I have the same questions for Kyle with the paper airplanes...Yes there are opportunities, and the more "exotic" the niche the better ...I would not have thought about paper airplanes in a million years. This is the really interesting part - how to come up with these ideas ...
The absolute key to choosing a niche is to have a genuine interest and passion for it. Remember that. It’s not about untapping a random niche, it’s about untapping the niche you actually care about. 👍🏼
Right. But I happen to care about lots of things and I could even care about paper airplanes if I had thought about them. This was always my problem. Chose one hobby. Chose one thing you are passionate about. It does not work for me. I don't have passions like Frank and the guitars. It is unfortunate but this is how it is... And I think that smaller niches catering to people that are passionate about the topic can work ... of course I might be wrong I have no clue what I am doing...
Not really the answer I was looking for ..Just chose one, waste time and money to get 0 results is not what I am looking for. I've been down this road many times. And I don't think all topics are made equal. Maybe they are, but from where I am I do not see it this way. If it is a trade secret than that's fine too ...
The absolute KEY to this is choosing a niche you have an interest in. I can’t help it if that’s not the answer you're looking for, all I can tell you is that is THE answer.
You choose any interest you have and start working through the process. It’s not a waste of time when you’re learning your way through. This is how we all start. 💯
There is no “secret” profitable niche. Profitable niches are everywhere, you just need relevance to your audience.
As you build and learn you may decide to change your direction slightly, or you may be inspired and go into a whole different direction. It’s not wasted time, training and getting your hands dirty in this is 100% essential. Utilize this time!
Get after it!
You got this!
My question was how do you find less competitive niches, such as the paper airplanes. I am in this for the money first, interest after. I've been burned way too many times with "do what. you love money will follow" type new-age fluff.
There’s nothing new age about building a business in a niche you have an interest in. It’s a foundational element of successful business building.
Just sit and rank the things you enjoy doing the most. This isn’t rocket science, so take the pressure off. Get your top 3, build a hub for each, and start looking at the content ideas. Start visualizing if these areas would be something you’d enjoy fleshing out with your website. That’s when you start connecting with your own business, because if you can’t connect with it no one else will. 👍🏼
If you have a “money first, interest later” mindset you’ll never actually get to the money, simply because your audience won’t connect with you and there won’t be any conversions.
If your real interest is simply making money online, then dive into the Affiliate Bootcamp promoting WA. There’s no better affiliate program.
This isn’t an argument by any means , this is about understanding a foundational element of business building. 💯
When you place yourself smack dab in the middle of your own target audience by choosing a niche you have a real interest in it allows you to understand your audience, their needs, their pain points, etc. that much better.
So it’s not about finding exotic, obscure or untapped niches. It’s about a connection with your target audience.
That mndset shift will be eye opening for you!
You got this! 💥
Yep -- I think any niche has the potential for success, depending on how you approach it. If it's broad, in my mind that gives you more options to appeal to a wider audience. Yep, relevance and timing -- if you do the right things at the right time, you can succeed.
Oh, are you saying we're going to be competitors? 🎉🎉🎉I am not worried because I haven't noted all my secrets... I kept some for myself.
Haha!

Haha! That made me laugh so hard. 🤣🤣🙏
That's awesome, Steve, and congrats. Off to the grind.

No love for Woodstock, Abie? 🤔
You're right - there's potential in sub-niches too.
Appreciate the post!
Isaiah 😁
😁 Haha, Isaiah, Woodstock definitely deserves some love! 🌸✌️ It’s one of the OGs, but I’ve found that diving into the less obvious festivals (and their sub-niches) is where the hidden gems are! Who knows, maybe there’s a niche for vintage Woodstock fashion or throwback festival experiences? 🎶✨

Will you be going to Bangkok in 2026 for the big and bugged out EDM concert.
Should be a wild event.
And you are not wrong about discovering your niche.
I recently wrote a post on micro niches and believe that this can be a very profitable and quicker way to achieve your online goals than choosing a more “open ended” niche.
Also great “marketing “ post,,,,,well done.
