Sorry, I had a "Doh!" Moment.

Yesterday, I thought I was being a good contributor by reviewing/commenting on site posts. I'm afraid that I was totally on the wrong topic and didn't realize it until I saw that a comment of mine had been disapproved by the site's owner, and rightly so. She, and the others, too, I suspect, were asking for comments on their content, not a technical evaluation of a site page.

Oboy. I am so sorry for not being more careful about where I was and what I was supposed to be doing.

If you're wondering what I'm talking about, then you weren't a victim of my carelessness, but I think I'll be a little more specific to ensure you don't make the same mistake.

Before this amazing update to the WA site, I navigated to the site comments and the site feedback segments a little differently. Perhaps I wasn't paying attention then, either, but I've since learned that when I found them under Community Credits, they were listed together. What threw me was using the word "site" as a descriptor for both. It would have been more clear for me had they been listed as Site Posts Comments and Overall Site Feedback.

Still, I'm not the tarpest shack since I should have puzzled over why I was landing only on one page of the complete site if I were supposed to be giving feedback on the site itself. And I did, actually, but I clearly didn't connect the dots.

Sigh.

Thanks for bearing with me! I'm only six weeks in...

Leslie

Mistake are growing steps!!

Tried and True

Elaine

We all make mistakes but the biggest REWARD we get is learning from them

Every faux pas is a step on the ladder of learning. We grow; we become better.

All the best, Leslie.

Lol...Once again you're not alone. Read my post. Nevermind...I'm an Idiot.

Thanks Leslie, I did exactly the same thing about 2 - 3 weeks ago and as I reviewed my comments, I hemmed and hawed about many a couple of very minor syntax errors.

Finally, I decided this was being honest, so I made the comment.

My bad! I had not read the reviewing rules first.

My end result was exactly as for yours.

Thank you for putting it into words for me.

I guess we both make the same mistake twice.

Rick

Don't feel bad. Mistakes happen. We learn from them and keep moving on. Thanks for sharing Leslie, and for giving us the heads up. Much appreciated!

Don"t worry we all have made mistakes you have learn and won't do that again.

We've all been there one time or another........

Laurel

We all make mistakes. It is part of the process. Your not alone. I will make a million of them but it is ok. We are all human and no one is perfect.
