I'm A Juggler

Not in the literal sense of juggling physical objects (even though that is a really cool talent!).

Most people call it multi-tasking. The phrase multi-tasking never really resonated with me. I never felt like I was trying to do multiple things at once and get them all accomplished.

I felt more like I was just trying to not drop the balls! I learned my way of juggling at a young age. Growing up my parents were foster parents to 22 kids over a span of 10 years. One little guy stayed with us for 5 years. The one thing my mom insisted on was I stay the oldest child, so all of the children that came and went were younger than me.

Which translated to I got the most chores! My childhood home designated chores according to gender. I never was taught how to change oil in the car or change a tire. My brothers were never taught how to cook or do laundry.

But I had a yearning for learning! I was taught how to be a wife and mother and how to run a household but was never taught how to be an independent woman. Those were lessons I would teach myself later in life.

So meanwhile as I am doing chores my mind was constantly going elsewhere. Thinking, creating, dreaming. I mentally made up poetry and stories and wrote them down in my spare time. I had quite the imagination at times!

I still practice my style of juggling today! I am constantly thinking about how I want to build my business, how I can add value to someone else's life, and what topics to share with others.

I have found my home here at WA! This is the best place for my creative mind to develop the skills and knowledge I need to become successful. I still yearn to learn and find the community and training here the best I have ever had the pleasure of belonging to.

Thank you my WA family!

As an Affiliate Marketer or as any kind of business owner, juggling is a way of life!

A valuable trait in any business Teresa!

Thanks for sharing. I especially liked the part where you asked yourself "how can I add value to someone else's life". I believe that's important for success.

Yes, WA is fabulous! ❤️

WA is truly like a family, everyone doing their part to share the burden.

Thanks for sharing Teresa!

Interesting this.

Hi Teresa, a very interesting article. Irv.

If I remember right it was in 1990s that the subject for awareness building related to feminist theology was all about what is Sex and Gender Sensitivity.

And what remained imprinted in my mind is sex is for the sexuality of the opposite gender and gender sensitivity is all about the distribution of work for both sexes.

So it teaches that no particular work is for a particular sex or gender. Everything is open to everybody. What a man can do can be done by a woman and vise versa.

True. I grew up in the Midwest in the 1960's. It would have been helpful to be cross taught back then. I remember the first time I tried to change a tire! :)
The boys and girls had the same opportunity for education but even then you didn't find girls in shop classes or boys in cooking classses very often.
So glad things have progressed through the years!!

I hope your nation is different now from the reminiscent years you've brought into.

It is. Things have changed a lot over the decades.
