Free images for your blog
Hi everyone,
Are you sometimes finding it hard to find images for your
blog?This is one of the problems I have
experienced this one month I have been working on my blogs.I visited the free image sites provided in
course 2 several times but did not find what I was looking for.As I have not started generating money yet I
am very cautious of my outgoings.
I have decided to explore the net and see if I can find list
of websites that can help me out.Indeed
I did find a few and would like to share with you.
After you have been to the sites let me know what you
think of the images and if you found images you were looking for.
Even if you do not find time to check all out don’t
forget to go on number 4 Every stock photo because the site is a collection of
images from free image websites.They
have tried to make it easy for people to find all stock images in one place.
Another thing I want to mention is that Big stock is not
all free.You get 5 images free for 7
days then you revert to payment.
One last thing to also mention is that some the sites
Flickr and others will ask you to register with them before they give you the
free stock image.

Thanks for all the comments to my article. I like the feedbacks and as some people said read the conditions and disclaimers so you do not get in trouble.

Thanks Rich since my site is primarily about photography then that seems like a logical idea just need to know how to price and market my photos.

I recommend extreme caution with many free image sites. Unfortunately "free" isn't always risk free, the majority will hide disclaimers in their T&C's that they take no responsibility that the images available were uploaded by the copyright holder, ie. RGBstock hides it at #10 http://www.rgbstock.com/license If you check these images on Flickr http://www.flickr.com/photos/53558245@N02/ you'll see they are labelled free to use in return for attribution but it's simply a fan stream, the uploader "Daily Sunny" isn't the copyright holder and services such as PhotoPin, Compfight, Foter, etc. are again, simply gateways to Flickr. Sadly, several Members have received substantial bills for innocent "misuse" of images believing them to be free and others have had DMCA's filed against their sites. Quite right rich...I had the same problem after I checked the disclaimers. You need to be very careful.
Hi anitab.....do I need to create an account on pixabay? I found four images I could use for my website. And these are free?
Yes they are free to use. I alwyas check the license agreement each time just to be sure. There are beautiful images on there! I use them a lot. Notice there is a 'Buy Me Coffee' button. It's good to pay it forward when ever you can afford a few extra bucks. You need an account if you want to download full res pictures. Still free!

If you have already used some photos from these sites, please make sure they are copyright free so that it won't come back to bite you later. I had to go back to an old site of mine and tear some down because I didn't know any better.
