Save all of your website information to your computer or whatever backup system you want to use. That way you will not have to start from scratch.
you click site manager, then at the top of the page click domains, find your domain and click the button to the off position.

Turn off the Auto-Renew so you don't automatically pay for renewal of the domain name.
Backup your website and save the files on your computer in case you change your mind. Full Backup With a Plugin
