Several posts on WA have suggested to use Dmoz.org as part of your research. Unfortunately, they have shut down the website as of yesterday. I guess all good things must come to an end.

It was a planned closure. The reason is because it became archaic in relation and operation to the computer powered search engines.

YUP! I just read about this on the Search Engine Land website. I foresee many newbie members asking questions in the coming weeks and months as to why they cannot access Dmoz anymore.
