Search Engine Success, But .
In my Wealthy Affiliate Blog Post of 19/6/2020 and the subsequent one of 9/7/2020, I reported about my Search Engine success. I went on to lay more ambitious targets.
I am happy to say, the success is continuing. And I now even have the formula for reaching Page 1, Position 1 of all of Google, Yahoo and Bing in 2 - 3 days.
It is working very well.
But ... maybe it is working too well. In the past two days, I have picked up that the best performing article on my website, on top of remaining steadfast at Position 1 for months, now occupies five spots on Page 1 of one search engine. That makes me UNHAPPY.
The reason for this one article occupying those 5 positions, is the tags I have applied. Tags are very helpful for visibility of a written piece. But I didn't know that an article could be listed by tags, many times over.
One of the things I absolutely dislike in this world, is GREED. And I am a Sports person of many Sporting codes. I believe in fair competition; fair play. Occupying 5/10 Page 1 positions with one article doesn't go down well with me. It blocks other Publishers.
I wonder if I should remove the tags I have applied, just to that article (and any future ones that could perform likewise)? Any thoughts please?
My second latest article is that of Thursday 16th July. Its title caused a bit of problems which hindered its rapid ascent to the top. But the very able Wealthy Affiliate SiteSupport team quickly fixed the issues, and the article reached Position 1 of all major search engines by the third day (Saturday).
What still worries me about this article of 16 July is this: I realised through Jaaxy that the title of the article contains words that are a company name somewhere in the world. For example, you write an article entitled "Wealthy Affiliate Is Totally Tantalising". Then you realise later that there is a New Zealand company called "Totally Tantalising" (totallytantalising.co.nz).
Now, this company's main article / advert is at Position 2 (presumably dislodged from Position 1 by mine). Is that likely to cause any problems? Is there anyone with that type of experience?

Good job Teboho! You've hit on a formula that seems to be working. Ask yourself this question. As a sporting person, would you quit trying to win if you find that you are wining every contest, just so that others would have a chance to win? Don't remove your tags, keep doing what you're doing and keep climbing the ladder of success.

If you are feeling greedy for occupying 5 spots at #1 maybe you can eliminate 2 or 3 but not anymore than that .
I don't think your greedy I think your onto something.
Ie. Many years ago in the U.S. there was a car salesman who held a position of top car salesman in the entire United States for 10 years in a row!
I believe he wrote a book called the worlds greatest salesman.
He was applauded the first 2 or 3 yrs at annual functions but the next 7 yrs they booed him, his wife was shocked but he told her it's ok honey they are just angry that I'am that much better than them .
If you read his book he was an excellent closer and if his fellow salesman felt they could not close a sale they would ask for his help and this is how he got so many sales they would share the commission they might not ever realize.
So, you just keep getting those posts on #1 multiple times that's business😎👌
