What Social Media Are You Using & Is It Successful?
I'm really interested in what social media you are using? Is It Successful for your niche?
There is so much social media available today and its a mind field to figure out what works and why as each social media platform has it's own flavour and style of how you go about engaging and connecting with others and creating followers.
To date I use:
LinkedIn - My profile needs updating with my new Digital Savvy Publishing business. A great site for a professional profile especially if you are in sales and marketing and work in the corporate world but also if you are in business. I am planning to create a LinkedIn course in 2017 on how to best to optimise your profile and personal brand. The platform is professional and engaging. I have about 2,000 professional connections from around the world.
Are you using LinkedIn to create new business?
Twitter - My twitter account is @tasnafg - Change Creator B2B Social Selling I B2B Lead Generation | B2B Social Media l Adding Value l Relationship Building l LinkedIn + Twitter #SocialSelling #sales I have 2,563 followers but, if you click on the link I haven't been on there for a few months. I plan to either update my twitter account or start a brand new profile focusing on my new business - Online Affiliate Lifestyle.
Are you using twitter to connect with new people and set up affiliate links? or are you sending the links to your website?
Facebook - I mainly use my profile as a personal way to engage with family and friends around the world. I do have a page called 'Planadreamlifestyle' that I will update to be focused on Affiliate Marketing and WA Affiliate Marketing. Are you paying for ads using the demographics?
Instagram - Haven't been on Instagram for months. Are you having any success with Instagram?

Have stayed away from them all, there is a dark element on most social media sites that can destroy lives, a friend took her life after coming under attack on a public issue that was then turned on her. I think some sites are now taking more responsibility for the platform they provide but there is a long way to go yet.
Thanks for commenting George. Yes, in my group of friends we lost someone well known who used Twitter alot and was affected by nasty troll's comments. So I was a little apprehensive about using Twitter however my experience to date has been fun and business focused.
I use Facebook for fun and LinkedIn for business so I guess each platform is slightly different attracting a different audience.
Hi Tasna, I mostly use Pinterest as that's been my biggest source of traffic. I also use Twitter often and I'm starting to use Instagram and Facebook. But I focus more on pinterest personally. I think the choice also depends on the niche.

Facebook and Google plus Tasna. It helps if you already have followers already. The rest will come. I am also considering LinkedIn.

Facebook is my mostly used one for my blogging sites, with Twitter, google plus, and LinkedIn not far behind. For my shopify site, I use facebook, Pinterest, and instagram.
Facebook is used the most, G+ is google friendly and gives you better search results. Twitter may be good also.......Scotty B ♫
I still have to create business profiles on my social media accounts. I do believe they work, I have had great responses on them but that is because my artefacts have been well publicised by lots of e-journals. My downfall is not collecting followers and responding to their comments, this will change, but how much can one guy do? lol !
Ha! I know... How much can one guy do? More... ;) Social Media is fun but can suck up a lot of time! lol!
I still have a lot of work to do with my social media sites. At the moment it's really just FaceBook and, on occasion, LinkedIn and Google+.
Ok, cool. Are you posting on Google+? Haven't spent enough time on the platform to figure out how it works. I plan to have a look at it over the Christmas break.
