I got indexed on Google! Wahoo! What does that mean?

I was so excited, I got a badge for getting indexed on Google.
But I'm not really sure what that means, or why it's good.
I think it means people searching for information I am writing about might find me now, or at some point in the future.
:) It's a good thing so I'm happy about it. It's progress and progress is good!

Yes it is a good thing. It means that your website is now in the Google database and people who search for your keywords, Google will now list your site in the SERPS (search results). So yes people will be able to find your site now basically. Congrats! :)
