Plowing Through My Week, Looking Forward to 2019
Hard Work and Success At My Job
I have issued 5 Temporary Water Use Authorizations (on a river and 9 lakes) in the last 2 days. That is possibly a new record for me. It is usually good if you get one or two our in a week and doing 1 per day is really fast. I had to come in this weekend to get them started and have been very busy. ConocoPhillips and Oil Search will be happy they can start work for the ice road season and I am happy I am keeping my head above water so to speak.I will issue over 60 this year.
Now if I can keep up the pace and get 7 more issued this week I will have survived the busiest week of the year at work.
Looking Forward to Website Progress in 2019
I look forward to a slower new year so I can get back to work on my websites. I will still be busy with work through January but it won't be as hectec as December.
Website Traffic Coming Even When I Am Away
It is so amazing to check into Google Analytics and see I am getting traffic and organic searchers evern now that I have not had time to add anything to my websites in several weeks. The power of what is taught here is undeniable. Once you build it you can slowly (or quickly) improve your site over time and it will just get better and better. Of course for this to work you need to be very careful to learn and follow good SEO (search engine optimisation) practices and offer valuable, original and interesting content for your audience. Just writing for the sake of getting more words down is not going to work.
We Have All We Need at WA!
We have all the training, support and tools we need however! I have had my best year yet with WA and I look forward to sharing a year end report in a few weeks.
Onward and Upward,
Jessica

I hope things are well for you since the earthquake.
I know you can't wait to get back to working on your site because, I find myself missing "doing something with my site", when I am away for a few days.
I think I am addicted, shhhh.
Can't wait to see your accomplishments for the last year. I myself have not made very much in the form of traffic or money as to date. I am only 2 months in so I will keep moving and see what 2019 brings me.
Best wish my friend,
Dana
Thanks Dana. I feel like I am missing out when I am not here at WA and working on my sites. Mostly I feel like my Google rankings will slip and my traffic will go down because I am loosing momentum. I am glad it can keep running awhile without me however. That is the only way this works for me. I can't commit to being active on my site every day at this time. I wish I could but I just can't.
I lost a few premium referrals so my end of year results may not be quite a good as I would like but still better than last year.
Onward and upward is the goal.
I have yet to gain traffic and sales but, I am working toward the goal. I know it takes time. The day I make my 1st sale of any kind, I will be shouting it from the roof tops LOL.
Best wishes and have a wonderful weekend.
Yes, in fact there are many here happy just working off their siterubix.com domain and the never went premium. That said, I think premium gives you a lot more benefits.
I personally think you'd have to have a pretty good base of knowledge in this area to do it without going premium because without going premium, you will lose the ability to ask questions on here, message people, and get more training from WA.
If you are a very resourceful person, you can do it! There's nothing stopping you. This company (WA) never requires you to convert to a premium member.
I agree. It is possible but for a beginner having the advantages of a premium account is probably going to be necessary.
Look after yourselves as well. Our first cyclone of the season is up in the gulf at the moment. Our drought out west is going to get some rain this week we hope. Thousands of trucks are bringing hay from the other side of Australia.
Tom.
Thanks Tom. We will try! It seems to be a full time job anymore between health problems, stress, broken down vehicles, too much to do and earthquakes.
Yes, it was pretty wild! 2 of 3 bridges that allow us to get out of our town were shut down and the third was restricted so traffic was slowed down for days.
Jessica,
Congratulations on getting thru your week - and
on the traffic still building on your website :)
