So Frustrating!

I am so frustrated right now. I currently work a full time job during the weekday. And while I'm grateful I have a job right now, I wanna work on getting my webiste up and running. I am limited to what I can do here at work cause this is not my computer. It is very slow here at work and I hate the fact that I am wasting time not having anything productive to do when I could be working on my site.

My goal in all this is to say so long to my day job and work on Internet Marketing permantely. I hate that I have talked about doing IM for years and never took that step until now to do something about it. I really cannot wait to start seeing results.

Thanks for reading my frustration. I just needed to vent a little.

I felt the very same way when i worked a full time job. I now work a part time job and still feel the same way. lol However, when working full time I would bring my laptop to work and work on my lunch so I'd have the opportunity to get SOMETHING done. I also stayed up late at night because it was just that important to me and i still do the same thing now. And now that I work part time customer service, I view trainings between my calls. But I work from home so it's a benefit to the job but I still wanna get away. lol But try to squeeze it in here and there. You'll get everything done over time.

It is tottaly understandable to feel that. Thought we need to remind ourselves to be patient, while we work on our online business. Here are two quotes that lift me up, maybe they can be of assistance to you.

Don't be upset by the results you didn't get with the work you didn't do. ~Z.Ziglar

Wherever you are be there. J.Rohn

If we are at work, we need to do our best at it, if we think about the things at home, we wont be very effective at our job.Occasionally when we get a new idea write it down.

Well, at least you have a paycheck while you are getting this started.
If you haven't seen this, it is worth a look. https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/when-to-quit-your-day-job

Wow interesting. Never seen this link before thanks.

This is definitely not a quick process. I recently learned from a friend the value of goals of 1s. One little step forward every day. One article written (can you write articles by hand in that slow time - and then type up and publish when you get home? You can also make lists of ideas by hand, etc), and then do one thing when you get home. or 5 - one things-. Be easy on yourself. Set a goal for getting out of there and move forward one step at a time. I work at home full time, but I still have to remember to work in whatever ways I can in whatever time I have. I doubt there are many of us that have 8 uninterrupted hours a day at home to work.
PS Your venting is good way to get rid of that frustration!! Good luck!! Hang in there!

I definitely can relate to that! I know it's so frustrating when all you want is some time to work on your web sites, articles, etc. and instead you are stuck going to a miserable job! Just work on your site when you can and each little step done is that much closer to your success! You'll get there as long as you keep doing as much as you can each day :)

I drive a truck for a living during the week but I do find time to write for my websites during this time. When I get an idea I go to my IPad mini and write it done on one of my apps to transfer later to my site that way I am still working making money and advancing on my sites. Good luck have fun not frustration

Where do you live? I don't want to be on the road with you when you are typing on your iPad.

I understand where you're at. I joined WA in 2011, and only worked part time, but thought it was too much, got frustrated one day, and quit. Now I look back, and it wasn't that I didn't have the time, so much as I didn't make the time, since I had other things going on, so now I'm back, and am doing just that, putting aside a little time each day, and plugging away. I'm lucky in that I'm no longer working, but as long as you stick with it, and do a little at a time, you'll make it. Baby steps. What's great, is that you have a whole 'family' here that understands, so vent away.

I hear ya ! Change is pain but arrival to change is Heaven ! Scotty

Oh Susanna do I know your frustration. Of course mine was doing all this work for clients when all I wanted to do was work on MY sites. Just remember it's little by little. You can't keep looking back at what you should have done (I'm preaching to the choir right now because I'm learning not to look back either) but what you are doing. Just think in 12 months from now you will be so much further ahead then where you were.
A Journey of a thousand miles startes with a single step...and you have taken that step.

Just focus on one day at a time and do what you can. It will all come together for you and you'll be able to do this full time. :) And remember, you are not alone in this. I still have this same frustration but every time I can accomplish something I choose to focus on that one thing and look forward to the next accomplishment.

Vent away....... Now...... get back to work, lol! :) I hear what you are saying. When I first started I was in the same boat.
