In early days when I provided comments, I also treated that like feedback. My comments were not approved by the person. But I wasn't banned from giving comments. I got a message omstead suggesting the correct way to give site comments.

Hi - the only person who can reverse your ban is Kyle. You will need to ask him personally and explain why you think you should be allowed to comment again.
