Having fun so far..learning about social networking. It's another realm...all the things going on in the cyber world. I don't know why I didn't bother to deal with it before but I guess I gotta start somewhere. It's not easy, but patience is key and making friends lol.

Hey Sue. Glad you having fun. yes social media networking is very important and as you said your making friends along to the :)

Hey Sue! If Facebook isn't something you use or don't want to start using, don't feel like you *have* to use it. It can be beneficial for some but for others it can just be a waste of time... consider this video by Kyle -

At the very least, you should get on Google+ - you can connect with all the WA G+ peeps here -

If you have a really visual niche, Pinterest is a great place to be. :)

You can set up a social share plugin like "Sociable" so others in different social networks can share you content, regardless of whether you're personally on FB or not. :)

Hi Wendy, I'm gonna look into all the things you mentioned. Never heard of sociable but sounds like something I should setup. Thanks for your help!

Cool. Yeah I kind of jumped the gun, you will learn about such things later on... just trying to point out you don't need a social account at every single network. :)

Hi Sue.....I am not a huge fan of FB for personal reasons. Perhaps it is good for business...but it can be a big time waster. I use it only occasionally myself. Making friends can be hard (you're right) but...it is much easier here. I am sure that you will do very well with everything that you choose to do. Best of luck. *Melanie*

Thanks Melanie, your comment really encouraged me to keep going..I deactivated fb for personal reasons as well. Thanks for the comment, it's what I needed.

Hi, I am with you, I have a FB but only to chat with family back home and I hardly ever get on it I did try to make a page for my site.. but eh that didn't go so well , the others I haven't even looked at yet, but its' time I guess lol, so don't feel alone I"m sure there are many more of us just venturing out into the social media area.

I feel so much better I'm not alone! I thought I was the only one who didn't like fb. Now I need fb and all the other social networks to help me get noticed. Thanks for the support!

Making friends is the hardest!
