If I decide to use a pen name rather then my own. How do I handle my social media accounts? Just don't have any on my website? How have others handled this?
Thanks in advanc

I've seen people who use a pen name rather than their own name. Some do it for fraudulent reasons I don't recommend, but if you're doing it to protect your offline identity, I can understand reasons for that. In that case, they usually use the name on their social media accounts just like others would use their real names.

I guess it is OK for a blog but today facebook may get fine by governments for fake news so they will want to know who the person is. Not sure about other social media.

You could use your pen name, I guess?

Facebook, in particular, doesn't like made-up people. It would look weird, no friends, no history.

Just trying to figure out if I want to go the route of pen name

Use your own name then create a page

Then you would know that it was me using a pen name no?

you don't use a pen name you create a group. It's against Facebook terms and conditions yo use a pen name

Thank you!
