Hi friends! Another update is in order as I've hit the 3 year mark at WA! If you care to read, the blog is on the right. :)

April 4th, 2016:

Hey guys! I've come a long way with WA, but there's still so far to go! Instead of boring you in my profile description, please check out my blog, "First $200 and $250 months on amazon." A lot of my progress, failures, successes, and personal life lessons are in that post! Hopefully it will inspire you if you're just starting out, or even if you've been here awhile! For humble beginnings, read on..

Written December 2014:

I'm a very passionate person with interests/hobbies ranging from beatmaking, painting, graphic design, fishing, bowling, and a ton of other stuff that I won't bore you with. I have a B. F. A. in Graphic Design, and work as a freelance designer while I look for a job in my field.

In my life I was told (and still am told) that I am very talented, or that I have a gift. The problem is I do not know how to market it. For instance, I can paint and draw, and have a very subtle ear for music. I make beats as well, and have worked with different artists over the years. I always felt like if I could reach a wider audience, the sky was really the limit on what I could accomplish.

That said, marketing and promotion have always eluded me. Maybe it's because I was given bad info, (or hazy info) or gave in to "get rich quick" schemes too fast, convincing myself that quick cash would make me happier.

In the past, money and passion have always been separated for me somehow. Either because I felt like my hobby was just a hobby, or the doubt that came with realizing the potential of profiting from something I love to do. This site has given me the confidence and the knowledge to make me see that anything is possible with the right foundation.

As good as that just sounded, I still have my doubts. I guess it's because I've been raised (like most people) inside what "Postman" (marketer) calls "The Paycheck Paradigm". We are told our entire lives that we must go to school, get an education, earn a degree, and find a job working for somebody else. Even just a few years back it sounded kinda suspect to me, but today I can tell you that it is THE absolute most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. We weren't put on this earth to slave for somebody else doing things that we hate. Even if it's something that we love doing, why work for someone else doing it? Why should we limit ourselves to how many physical hours we can put in per week?

That being said, I do realize that the job I have now which I don't like very much (working in a bakery) affords me the opportunities to make the moves that I am currently trying to make. Without it where would I be?

Long story short, my eyes have been opened. Thank you for reading this novel :)

All the best and God bless,
-Stu
StubearBlack's Goals 3
Money Goals
#1) At this point I would be happy earning anything from online marketing. A target goal for now would be something like $1000/month. I have tried MLM in the past and failed. It has made me really skeptical but I have made SOME money from sites like ZNZ. I know not all of it is a scam. Ideally I would want to make more than what I make at my current job, and eventually enough to earn a good living.
#2) I would be ecstatic with $5000/month
#3) If I am passionate about something I will spend a lot of time on it regardless. Part of the reason I'm here is because I want to promote things that I love and are important to me.

So awesome Stuart, I know from experience that goals are what lead us to success. Work relentlessly in pursuit of these goals and they CAN and WILL happen.

In fact, wipe failure out of your mind right now. It simply won't happen. You have too much help, support and an entire community of help behind you to ever let that happen :)

If you need anything going forward, just let me known and I will be happy to give you a hand.

Very interesting bro... I will be designing my own website with my own domain name. And it's gonna be a PORTFOLIO site with 'about me' column.

Thank you so much. Would you recommend the yearly or the monthly? Seems like a no brainer since yearly is way cheaper. I just don't really have 300 to drop right now lol. Maybe do the first month for 19 and then decide? I guess the 299 price won't be around then. Idk.

Stuart, If you have PayPal, or PayPal Credit per-say, they will give you at least 6 months to pay the 1 year WA premium without interest. That is what I did. I paid the discounted year with PayPal Credit as soon as they offered it. Just a Thought. Hope it helps!

Hey man!
Welcome to WA. I am following you because I am a Graphic Designer too. Good to know people around the world who share the same knowledge and skills.
So I've started using Fiverr for online part time income. And Creative Market. I don't feel like good chances in earning some from those sites but I've a "GO FOR IT" challenge to pursue my creativity through online. I think you do the same :)
