I just read about a lady who woke up in the hospital after laser eye surgery to fix cataracts that were discovered on her eyes. She was told it was a completely safe and simple procedure.
She woke up blind in the ICU.
I found that very ironic.

Thanks Susan. I was walking through a hospital once to visit a friend and I tripped over a caution sign. That really did happen.
It reminded me of what irony is. People have lost the meaning of irony.
Also, it was just a joke (I-see-you).
