My Recent Learnings - Related To Making Money With Videos
Dear WA family,
Happy Day!
Straight to the point... While talking about the 2026 goals, one of our WA friend mentioned about a video publishing platform called Rumble.
To be honest, that's the first time, I came to know about this platform.
Some might be aware of it and a few might not be aware of it like me (LOL) but I want to share what I learned.
ββRUMBLE:
Just like YouTube, Rumble is a video sharing platform. Where creaters can upload their videos (not others).
The Good News:
1.If you have a youtube channel, you can upload your youtube videos to the Rumble platform and earn money.
Even many says this can be automated with an option available within Rumble. Some says that automation feature is not working properly so uploading the videos manually is the best way to go.
2.The ad share revenue with youtube is 55:45 (55% is to the creators). With Rumble it's 60:40. That's what they say...
Some creators are saying Rumble is paying more than YouTube but many are saying YouTube is paying more. If they are paying that's a Good news for me, LOL.
3.There is no much restrictions like YouTube.
4.Requirements - Previously,β there was no requirements to earn money with Rumble. Recently, the requirement is minium 100 subscribers.
My βThoughts:
To be Honest, I'm yet to create my Rumble Account.
Based on my research... Its not about which is best or which one to use. Obviously, Youtube wins.
The best thing to do is... If you are publishing your videos on youtube you can publish the same videos in the Rumble platform and you can earn money.
At the end of the day, it's purely your decision. Taking advantage of both the platforms will be the best option to go with.
Your Thoughts:
If you have already used the Rumble platform or earning from Rumble platform please share your experience and it will be a greater help to many of us.
Like me if Rumble is new to you let me know your thought as well.
Wishing You Great Success!
God Bless!
Your Friend,
Paul

I've known about Rumble for a while. A lot of content creators I watch are banned from YouTube and post on there instead. Not really given it much thought myself but not really too confident with making videos but I know it can be a good idea for cross posting so you can post to YouTube and put some videos up on here and other sites. BitChute is another good one but It is no longer available in UK
Thanks a lot for the valuable information.
First time hearing about BitChute, and I Googled it. I'm from India...
Yes, BitChute is generally available in India, as it's a global video-sharing platform focused on free speech, accessible via web browsers, apps (Apple App Store, Android APKs), and even media centers like Raspberry Pi, with services like data scraping already covering India as a market. While some regions might face restrictions, India doesn't appear to be under a specific ban, allowing users to access its unfiltered content and creator monetization tools like PayChute.
Great reflection, Paul ... this really resonates.
What I appreciate most is how honestly you frame video not as a βquick money switch,β but as a skill that compounds over time. Thatβs something many newcomers underestimate.
Your point about consistency, learning curves, and letting the platform work with your personality (rather than forcing a style that doesnβt fit) is spot on. Video rewards patience, presence, and trust. Not just clicks.
Curious to hear your thoughts going forward: do you see video becoming more of a support layer for written content, or eventually a primary driver in your strategy? (Like slides...)
Thanks for sharing the real learnings. Your post helps set realistic expectations in a space that often overpromises.

Very helpful for your valuable comments!
For my website, I will use videos as a support layer, but on the video platforms, it will be primary, and I will link it to my website.
Hey Paul, I actually discovered Rumble years ago and made a few dollars there just by uploading videos, so I can confirm that it does pay. From my experience, it works best as a complementary platform rather than a replacement for YouTube.
The audience is smaller, but the monetization felt more straightforward and less restrictive. Repurposing existing YouTube videos there is a smart, low-effort way to earn a little extra.

Thanks a lot for sharing your experience, and it means a lot! Very helpful! Thanks for confirming that Rumble is paying.
I agree with you 100%. Indeed, rather than using it as a replacement, if we use Rumble along with YouTube, it will be the wise thing to do.

Good morning Paul,
Thank you for your blog post, an interesting post.
I think rumble.com really gained traction when Covid arrived, platforms like YouTube and Facebook, were not allowing any opinions that went against the mainstream narrative, so people needed to find an alternative. With rumble.com, many people who have news type channels, are not restricted, whereas with Facebook or YouTube, it's extremely easy to receive a strike.
With my news/Christian/evangelistic YouTube channel, I have to be very careful what I say, otherwise I could potentially get a strike. I do have a Rumble account, the idea was to upload videos that YouTube didn't like to rumble.com, but it's all extra work.
Russell Brand is probably a classic example of what happened to him on YouTube. He lost all his monetisation on YouTube, bearing in mind he has around 6,700,000 followers, that's a massive loss. He is still broadcasting on YouTube, but also went across to rumble.com, where he has over 2,000,000 followers. The problem is with Rumble, it doesn't seem to get quite the same traction is what YouTube does, maybe that's because YouTube is a Google product.
I'm not sure how many videos I have on rumble.com, probably around five, but they don't get the traction that YouTube receives. I think with Donald Trump in power, YouTube has probably had to relax its rules and regulations against free speech a bit, but we still have to be careful, as no one wants to get banned.
Personally, Paul, I would go more for YouTube, but it certainly not a bad thing to have a Rumble account. You just get more traction with YouTube. I would really like to say it the other way round, as I'm very much for supporting people or platforms, which allow free speech.
It will be interesting to hear how your journey goes, Paul, I wish you every success.
Roy
Wow! Thanks a lot for the helpful insights and for adding value to this post. It's very helpful!
I completely agree with you, and YouTube is 100% the best. I'm planning to upload the same videos to the Rumble platform and see how it goes. reaching more people.
I'm surprised to know about your channel and feel happy because I'm planning to create my website, YouTube channel and FB page focusing on biblical teaching.
Thanks again for sharing!
Good morning Paul,
It's a pleasure, it's great to discuss these things with other members, Paul.
It is not a bad idea, Paul, to make use of both platforms, you will see a big difference between rubble.com and YouTube.
You are choosing a great topic, Paul, it's something that people really need to hear in these last days.
Wishing you all the best.
Roy
Thanks a lot for your time and your valuable comments!
It's always a pleasure, Paul!
Have a fantastic day.
Roy
Thanks a lot! GOD bless!
Thank you, Sir!
That was a prompt reply, Paul!
Where are you located, Paul? I'm based in the UK and I often go on to Wealthy Affiliate, first thing in the morning, although a bit later today!
All the best.
Roy
LOL! Southern part of India - Tamil Nadu! I love the UK because I was working for UK energy companies Gas & Electricity (British Gas, Npower, Eon, SSE, Scottish Power, etc) for nearly 6 years (customer service, outbound calling)
I literally had no idea Paul, I thought you may be from the UK, as we often seem to be on Wealthy Affiliate at the same time!
I'm not sure what your time difference is, it's 8 AM, here.
That's great that you are able to work for a UK company, but yet live in another country, the wonders of technology.
Have a fantastic day.
Roy
Here it's 01.34 pm. Indeed, the advancement in technology is awesome!
Good morning Paul,
Okay, so you are 4.5 hours ahead of us, that's interesting. I know your country is fairly vast, so you probably have a few time zones.
Anyway, I hope you have a productive day and a good weekend.
Roy
Actually, we have only one time zone for India!
Wishing you the same!
