How is this done? None of the methods I've found online have worked.

I would login my website

https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites

Create a new post | or page, the block editor opens by default.

Previous websites may have the classic editor, if so you may head to settings > writing and toggle, save changes.

Resource

Hi - if you go to Settings and then Writing, there are two options to look at.

Default Editor for All Users - you can switch this from Classic to Block.

Or - Allow Users to Switch Editors - you can leave the default as Classic, if you wish, and by using this setting, you can switch to Block in individual posts.

When you set up a website, the Block editor should already be accessible!

I have a domain that is registered on a different host. How can I register it here instead?

You have two options.
1) You can leave your domain name registration where it is and point the domain DNS to WA servers.

Primary: https://ns1.mywahosting.com
Secondary: https://ns2.mywahosting.com

2) You can have WA be your domain name registrar. and transfer your domain name to WA. Do be aware that there will probably be a registration fee. You will find variations based on your current registrar.

The domain you have registered with some other registrar and if it is more than six months old you can transfer your same domain here at WA. To read more about this here...

You may transfer or point to WA servers (if transferring domain has to end in .com, .net or .org.

To update your domain DNS settings to point to WA. Here are the DNS settings.

ns1.mywahosting.com
ns2.mywahosting.com

These settings will be updated within your domain registrar (where you purchased your domain) after the transfer has taken place. To transfer your domain here you need login current registrar and fetch the EPP code, there's a one year charge of $15, privacy included. One year more will get added to your domain.

Also it has to have passed the grace period of 60 days.

If your site has content you need get in touch with site support for further instructions.

They will typically ask you for FTP info and your domain name, they'll set up a siterubix subdomain and upload files then you can check everything is okay before you point your domain to WA servers.

Is there a way to access these - questions and answers with other members? For instance, questions posted, answers and the resulting discussions with other members?

Most every question posted here is a collection of the question and the answers given by members along with the discussions. Use the magnifying glass to make a smart search and you can find just about any topic ever talked about and posted here at WA.
