Finishing level two

Taking a break after completting level 2 of the training.

So far I chose a niche on geometry education, called geometryeducation.com that may stand to get good SEO rankings.

But I found it hard to write a lot of original content for this site, as well as to find a lot of products other than texts, so I chose a second niche on holistic exercise systems, called holisticexercise.net. This has none of the problems involving content and products. I was also happy today to find keywords with very low SEO and very large traffic numbers.

Still the first site may prove useful - if, say, you have one of the best articles on the web in some specialty of remedial math education, maybe that can give you a reputation as part of a portfolio for content authoring. I'm unclear on this, though. For instance I've never bothered to find out who the authors are of some of the best articles on Wikipedia. There is a saying that "content is king" - the article gets famous and all, but may do a lot more for Wikipedia and the public than it does for the author.

Who are these authors? Some of the mathematics articles were clearly time-consuming, and don't pay directly. And many of them are a lot better than any text I've seen. How do these authors get paid? Maybe they find some way to put it on a resume or CV - or maybe they just aren't into money.

And the same for articles on other sciences as well as arts.
