Battling Resistance Part Four
The fourth part of the battling resistance series is about loving what you do and creating desire for it.
Love The Smallest Amount Of Something
When you have found the smallest amount of something and you are willing to do it, do then also look at the love and desire you have for it.
You do not need to force this upon yourself by saying out loud:
"I love writing for my site, I love writing for my site, I love writing for my site"
or
"I love 'niche', I love 'niche', I love 'niche'.
No, not at all. For that what you dream about or love to do, you already love to do. You already love this new thing you are working on. If you don't, you obviously have chosen the wrong occupation. The wrong niche, the wrong job etc.
No, if you chose this thing, its the right thing. It's because you love this dream and you want to do anything (desire) to get it or to achieve it.
Remember everything that made you love this. Remember all the things that you associate with it.
Example?
Let's put it to WA niches in this case. My main niche is cats, as you might already know. I love cats. I got cats at home. I love working with them, I love taking care of them. Writing my blog however isn't always as easy. It can be difficult to come with new and interesting articles every day. Or I can have a bad day and not feel like I can put any words on paper.
So than there is the smallest thing I could do, perhaps write something or perhaps reading old articles and updating them or something like that or perhaps just writing one line of text for the next article.
And with that in mind, I can start to declare the love for all I love about cats and what I associate with it. I don't need to force that upon me, because I already do love them. And I love my website that has a lot of nice articles and information.
What is it that I desire so much with my website about cats? Is it the potential to earn money? That surely is one. Is it the chance I will get a lot of visitors of interested people in my articles? Is it world fame? Is it recognition in my field?
The desire in me for these goals with my site could win easily from the resistance that I was fighting. It is the love and desire for things that is driving us to do things.
