My First Blog.
Here go's nothing,
Confession time first ..... So i have been trying this caper (internet marketing) for almost 4 years now and in this time i have made nothing really, I'm actually embarrassed to say i have only made like a $100 from Google ad sense and a few $ for a couple of website i built for friends.
Not to mention all the money spent on hosting and domains and courses over this period of time also. I have a handful and a half of domain names some with sites setup but plenty of them are still vacant without sites.
But i have this one site which is responsible for the $100 made through Google ads and i think has the most potential out of them all.
This above mentioned site started out as my Auto niche site importing a product, then selling the product through the site all of which went south a little while ago and that was it. The domain is a EMD that ranks in Google for a couple of keywords. Now its kinda just a review site but not really a review site(any good wp review site platforms out there)if you know what i mean.I have some ad sense on it at the moment but I'm just not sure what to do with it (ideas welcome). Also not to mention the other sites i have that just tanked from word go ....
I know what some of my peers would be saying and thinking ,,,"what are you doing?".... "you suk so bad at affiliate marketing"....."What a waste of time" ...... "he should give up i would" .......
I have to agree with the i suk part because i think i really do at the min, but the giving up bit is simply out of the question as i don't quit that easily plus it doesn't blend well with my main goals.
My Goals
My main goal would be to establish a work from home business that is flexible in the hope to work within school hrs so i can spend more time with my Son 7 yrs old also go places without having to worry were the money is coming from.
My short term money goal isn't a lot either and i believe these monthly figures to be achievable $6,000 - $10,000 , now this would make a difference :-)
As for why i suk at affiliate marketing im not sure, well actually, i am sure or am I .... anyway i'm thinking I need to strip back to the bare bones and start over the WA way. Hhmmm what to do ?
Whilst i think about why i'm not further down this road killing it please feel free to comment and any suggestions on ways to improve on this would be appreciated.

Steve sounds to me like you need to start from square
one and rebuild. You do not know what you do not know!
Do not take that to be a setback, to the contrary. That will
be a step ahead. We must always remain teachable to grow
and have successes. I went through the training, and I have
been doing this online marketing many successful years.
I learned a number of things I did not know that I did not know.
Hey there Ken, yes id have to agree with you back to basics,I am always willing to learn new things but i think in all my new learning i lost my way. So i think i will do as you say and go back to the start and rebuild with a fresh outlook.

what we do not know, that is a lesson I learned
from one of my mentors many years ago.

Love your honesty here Steve. Says it like it is for so many people - but trust me it CAN be done and you CAN get there! I've managed and if I can do it ANYONE can! :-)
