Writing Articles - Become The Writer You Want To Be!
Greetings to ALL from Adelaide in South Australia!
We all want to be great writers, but I also know that many of us find it incredibly difficult to get that first word written down on a piece of paper!
The thoughts are always there...I'm sure you all find yourselves daydreaming sometimes with that ever elusive story line floating around in your mind, or you have learned something you are bursting to tell everybody about!
Somehow, you must find a way to get those thoughts out of your head and write them down on a piece of paper or type them onto a word document...if you're reading this, then the time is right now for you to become the writer you have always wanted to be.
One of the first hurdles we all face is...LOSING FOCUS.
It happens all too easily.
Get rid of that notion and don't let it overtake your thought process. It really is easy to write blog posts for yourself and you do have the ability to take things to the next level and start to write for profit!

If you think about it, your writing career has probably got more options for things you can write about than any other profession I can think of.

One thing to keep in mind is this...there are millions of people out there claiming to be professional writers, but there aren't very many who know what they're doing.
It wouldn't take much for you to shine brightly in the crowd!
There are thousands and thousands of people out there who are only too happy to pay for quality work. There's only a relatively small amount of people who are skilled at providing this service.
As with everything else we do in our work lives, the same can be said about your writing career... you won't become an overnight sensation. It will take some time for your reputation to take off!
However with some hard work, patience, dedication and perseverance, your reputation will spread like wildfire and before you know it, there will be so much work to do you won't be handle the load!
Believe me...the dollars will follow!
Get your website up and running, start telling the world what you can do, pump your message as much as you can through social media sites, for example, FaceBook, Twitter and as many other social media paltforms you can open an account with!
You can send some articles out to a few of the article banks to help get your name out there even faster as well!
So there it is...become the writer you want be TODAY!

You will be in demand before you know it!

Thank you again. Writing is my passion. I keep a journal with all of my thoughts, and dreams that I have at night. My ex husband and most of my friends have said that I should be a writer. I think I have a bestseller in my head, and on pages that I have written over the years. I need to compile them and come up with it. Thanks for the motivation. I also, would love to be a travel writer, as I love to travel. All of this in due time. I am 56 years (young), and trying to get my 17 year old son graduated from high school this year in June. Then I will have some of my own time.

I used to have write all my own copy when I was in real estate...didn't much like doing that either :)
You're so right about that, Steve. The shorter it is, the more difficult it is. Real estate copywriting would be very tough.

lol It's half finished, but my stupid laptop went berserk on me the other night & I haven't been able to finish it...soon...:)
That's not necessary, all you have to do is face it, and yell,
"I'M IN CHARGE!!! I'M IN CHARGE!!!" Seems to keep my laptop in line....but, then again, it could be a New York thing, lol.

I did notice everybody in MYC seemed to talk a few decibels above what I'm used to! lol :)
I would never hurt my 'baby'!
I have continued to make contact for writing travel articles. I also submit my horseback riding trips to horse magazines as well as travel magazine, so that expands my option for article submission. That is true nothing happens overnight and it can take a while before I can make a good income stream from article writing. But when I think about now I have enough years to leave this office job and think about travel writing - that gives me the motivation!
