Out In The Cold!
Hello,
Boy that was tough!!
As some of you may know I have been out of work for a while, I was signed off sick because of my blood clots in my leg! (no, i'm not a jetsetter! ). The welfare state here will not give me any money, because my wife works more than 20 hours per week blah blah!
So, I found this program, bit pricey, but worth it!!
I ran out of money, and with a 6 month wait to find out if I qualify for disability, there was no chance of replacing it. My wife has it all to do, so funding wa was not in the picture!
So, what to do?
I had a few sites hosted here naturally, but I had no money to transfer them over to a new host!
I scoured the internet looking for cheap(free) hosting, I found a company that charges £10.80 per year, per domain, (about $15) so I took that! I had to borrow the money from a friend!
Kyle was understanding, and helped where he could, even though technically I was gone!
He told me that commissions from wa are paid to current members, not lapsed ones!
So, my bootcamp site was not worth re-hosting.
I took a little niche site, that I had built, and transferred it over, It was a whimsical site that I built for the grandchildren to play on.
But it was monetized.
I am sooo glad to be back, the new host is problematic, as all themes I load do not have a theme editor!
It has'nt all been doom and gloom, I have returned very focused, and I am pleased I backed up all my sites, my deleted bootcamp site has been reinstated, and I am ranked quite highly for the search term "affiliate marketing for dummies 2014"
So, if you find yourself in a similar situation, take heart, you can come back! The training here is fantastic!
As is the community.
Till next time mates...

Hi Steve, nicely put together post - very encouraging. I am in a similar situation, relying on the wife for an income and giving the internet a whirl. You are obviously in the UK, I left 10 years ago (South East London - Bromley) and am now a Canadian - Calgary. A bit chilly but loads of fun.
All the best
Keith
Great post Steve!. Thank you for bringing it to my attention when we were on chat this morning.
I didn't look at the date on that post (Out in the Cold). Have your symptoms been treated & are you back in a good place? I guess you were suffering from phlebitis or that deep vein thrombosis? Either way, I do hope things are better now.
I suppose you live in the UK? I did not read your About You but I notice where you referred to the Pound currency & I assumed it was pound sterling?
Hopefully, you are in the UK or somewhere that you have good healthcare?
Anyhow best wishes to you & best of everything for your internet businesses in 2016!
Again thanks for your help.
Cheers!
