One Month Update
Hello WAers (is that a word?):
It has been one month since I joined. So much has happened since I first began a premium member. I honestly did not know what to expect when I first signed up but I had a good feeling and I am glad I stuck with my gut. Due to so many scams out there, I was skeptical, but yet hopeful I was not getting suckered it yet another one.
Online Entrepreneurship Training
I am up to Course 5, Lesson 6 in the certification course. I typically average about two lessons a day. Some days I will take a break and focus on the other training available from veteran WA members.
I came in to WA already having some experience with web design and was amazed even with my background of how much I learned. So much has changed and advanced since I got my certification in web design. I learned about Jaaxy, Google Alerts, some of the finer details of Google Analytics, Alphabet Soup, etc.
I am ranked in the first or second page of Google depending on the keyword phrase entered. I have received remarkable and super supportive comments on my niche website. I have had over one thousand unique visitors to my site according to Google Analytics.
I have two other niche websites started in addition to the one mentioned above.
WA Bootcamp Training
I just began Course 2 of the Bootcamp training. I began my WA promotion website and have my main pages written out. I only have one post so far and that is my Wealthy Affiliate Review. I have learned the importance of creating daily content to post to the websites, something I struggle with being able to keep up on. I have a number of drafts started but need to finish them and get them posted.
After one month, I have received 10 affiliate sales through Amazon on my niche site. I did not expect to get so many so early on, but pleased at the progress. I am sure it will only grow. I attached an image of my expense summary from Amazon. I promote civil war books and war games, especially ones my father wrote/designed. This goes to show all of you who are just starting out and wondering if your hard work will pay off and how soon will it start to do so. This hopefully gives you some insight into that.
My Rank in the Community
After one month, I am ranked in the top 100. I am number 83 at the writing of this blog. I am very active in the WA community. I am a believer in the philosophy shared here and that is to always pay it forward. I enjoy seeing my rank climb higher and higher – it makes me feel good that I am doing good within our community. I get great delight from magnifying my existence by helping others. Albert Einstein said it best when he said, “A life lived for others is the only life worth living”.
Some of you may think, “I don't have time to be an active participant in the community....I have websites to design!” If that is you, let me give you these words to chew on: The more you give, the more you will receive.
Thank you for taking the time to read this blog. I welcome all comments!
