All the Hard Work Shattered in a Second!

Six weeks of articles, Six weeks of design. Six weeks of blood and sweat to design my masterpiece all lay broken into pieces.

Shocked at the fleeting images of my soon to be cash making machine lay broken into shards. Yes my friends, my website had crashed. I reached out to anyone who would listen. Then the dreaded email to site support whom I was sure would devour me for the mess that had been made.

One day passed-it was so lonely. Not being able to work on my masterpiece. Then one day became two------two days of hand wringing and trying not to think of the apparent site rebuild that was going to soon be happening. The third day I logged in to my dash board and I had an email from site support.

Slowly I moved the mouse to check the email tab and saw an email waiting from the site support team. As I read the email I felt the sun beginning to shine---THEY HAD FIXED THE SITE!!!!! I know this post was a little over dramatic but I really was concerned. I had put a lot of work into this project and I really didn't want to redo it all over again.

Just wanted to take time and thank Site support for all their hard work that goes on behind the scenes and how many times do they get the recognition that they deserve? Don't be afraid to contact them as they are really a pleasure to work with.

To all of you reading this blog, Upward on Onward till we reach the goal that we have set. May you all be profitable have continued success with Wealthy Affiliates!

Take Care,

Stephen

PHEW! SiteSupport to the rescue! They've gotten me out of a couple jams, as well. So excited for you with your Masterpiece! Now, get back to work! HAHA! Blessings!

Erin :)!

Thats the truth Erin, It seems like all I do is work on my Masterpiece. But the good thing is I'm now one day closer to reach my goals. Wish you continued success.

I am so glad the support could fix this problem. They do a fantastic job!

I really wish I could give them the accolades that they truly deserve. A lot of times the team that works behind the curtain does not get the credit. They are a fantastic team.

So glad it got worked out. We have awesome site support.

I'm probably being so naive here - so please forgive me - but can't site support restore our sites from backups if something like this happens? I'm just wondering.

Wishing you all the best.

Kind Regards,

Yvette

Yes they can. It's still wise to do your own every week as well. There are some great plugins for this. Jim

Ok. Yes, I do conduct my own backups so I just wanted to make sure. Thanks for getting back to me.

They may be able to. My issue was with Wordpress itself and my backups were also affected due to a malfunction of Wordpress

Yikes! I didn't even realize that could happen - that your backups would be affected due to the malfunction of Wordpress. So glad that was handled for you.

Have an awesome weekend.

Yvette

I'm glad you got your site back mate.

This has happened to me on several occasions before I joined WA. I had to go into the c-panel of my hosting and fix it myself, messing around with databases, files and code, after watching YouTube videos of how to do it. Fortunately, here in WA, we have site support, for whom this stuff is easy. If your site goes down don't panic. It just seems awful at the time but it's easily remedied... most of the time.

That's the Truth, I just wanted to let people to not to be scared to contact them. they are really a great team

Hi Stephen
you really got me..Lol.
I'm happy for you. I can't imagining myself after a lot of stress and commitment, lose my site. it's disheartening!

So, keep the light Shining.

Thanks, Bibian2, It was a very stressful time around here. I think the stress was more in my mind due to me thinking off all the content I have put into this website. But Site support pulled it off

Wow, that can actually happen? Your site crashes and you can't work on it. But does it go away from the internet too, from the world wide web?

It can depend on what crashed. Your website is just hosted on another computer ( a server) and that is out of your control. They do a great job to keep this from happening but it's sort of like if your computer goes down, your friend's computer can continue to run. Most of the time it happens with things that have been loaded into your site (pictures, plug-ins and ect....)

Knowledge is power! Thank you!

WOW! That would terrify me! So glad site support was there to help you! They have saved me a number of times already.

Thanks, They are a great group of support

Indeed.

I would be scared too! This has never happened to me before, hopefully never will. But It's such good news that they were able to help you restore your website... :)

I work on my website everyday. I feel like if my website was down for any number of days that I would feel a void. Definitely would not know what to do!

That's how it was for me. I couldn't work on my site so I did a lot of walking, lol. there was really nothing else to do here. But it's all good now and I'm working overtime.

So glad site support came to the rescue Stephen and you are good to go again
Phew- what a major heart stop for you
All the best
Vicki

Very scary time If I do say, thanks Vicki

My heart jumped when I read it this Stephen
can only imagine what yours did :)
Glad its all good to go again
Keep up the great work
Vicki

Glad to hear your site was recovered. There is a lot of support here. The longer you are here the more you will find.

I appreciate that I really like this WA community as I can always find the help or support when I need it the most.
