My journey so far since I joined WA
A big hello to the WA community,
Since I joined as a member about two weeks ago, I have been doing nothing but following the course. When it comes to navigate myself online, I consider myself a novice but to date the lessons have been very helpful as I have had little difficulties to follow and apply. The odd times when I was not sure, the WA community was more that happy to answer my questions. Therfore a big thank you to you all.
I am not here to meausure my success against others as that is not what my life is about. I do not want to compete against other people, rather I just to know that I am getting better whenever I attend to something new.
I can say that even though I am aware that my first site still needs much work to be the kind of site that I want it to become eventually, I am still very happy with what I have accomplished. I am not here to be a success story overnight but I am here to perhaps in 12 months time start to reap the benefits of my hard work over that period of time.
I am going to stick with WA for a very long time as I want WA to eventually enable me to work from home and just from my computer instead of having to get up every day to go to my workplace which at times I don't fully enjoy.
I welcome positive criticisms so that I can become better at this and once I am confident that I can contribute, I will join the group of contributors at WA in sharing my knowledge.

Hi Simon, everyone here is just humming along at all different kinds of paces. Some people work and have less time, others are home due to being a stay at home parent or medically retired, or just retired and have way more time to work on their site.
So where ever someone else may be is just more based on how much time they have had to work on it. Or how much they already new coming in.
So, take your time and do it at your comfort level and all will be fine.
I will be more than happy to help out with constructive criticism, some people don't handle that well. I love it, helps me learn more and do a better job with creating something that will be effective.
Of course in respect, some people have different perceptions than others. So the official call is always yours!

We're not competing with each other. I like to say the only person I'm competing with is the me I was yesterday. You're making good progress and the best way to learn is to follow the lessons, which you're doing. It WILL come together for you!
