Generate Blocks Plugin Tutorial - Tips and Tricks
I have been trying to customise my Generate Press Theme, then realised I needed help.
So went over to Youtube and discovered this free video which demonstrates how to use GenerateBlocks - a plugin that can be used with or without Generate Press theme.
This plugin is free which is great.
The video is created by a man who has a bit of a thick accent, but if you listen carefully, you can follow along without subtitles.
He described and demo'ed how to make your blog more professional looking.
I needed to watch this video and followed along - stopping and pausing to apply his tips.
So far, I have used the Query tool to change a post's appearance, changed image sizes, font sizes in the caption and made the affiliate links only appear to work if you hoever over them. (Hope that's clear!!)

Thanks - a quick question for you though - I just realised I had a sidebar in my old theme.
However, when I switched over to Generate Press theme, the sidebar disappeared.
Do you know how I can get it back? The video I mentioned in my post above, mentions how to make your sidebar more attractive, but doesn't mention how to enable a sidebar in the first place....
Kindly advise.

You can enable a right and left sidebar with six options in the GeneratePress settings.

Thanks a lot Frank, I played around with the customisation widget sidebar settings and sorted it out.
Would you believe I used to be afraid of customisation in Generate Press? Now because of this video, I really understand how to make my theme pop!
Still working on it, but so far have made leaps and bounds...

I am struggling to find a way to increase the font size of my right sidebar text captions which are just below my images. Any ideas would be appreciated :)
