Dear Wealthy Affiliate family, after two years I am still trying to find the perfect spot where I will feel comfortable.

I have been searching everyday for months and feel as if I can't get out the blocks.

Yesterday I read something that made me sit up, and steered me in a new direction. It is still not very clear, and will like to hear your comments, but I'm getting there.

At last after dekades, I understand. It gave me a feeling of homecoming.

When I read of the 6 types of personalities, it changed my whole attitude and cleared the mist. Approaching, marketing and writing became more focused.

I came to the conclusion it does not help to fake a personality just for the sake of getting business. You should be true to your persona and then build your business to fit you. This has to do with personal branding in a way, and then thereafter brand your business.

The 6 Personality types

1. The Altruist

'Altruists are individuals who are highly recognized for their commitment to helping others in real life and not just in business. They will take the shirt off their back to help others.'

2. The Careerist

'True careerists are those who have shown a preference for professional advancement above all other personal achievements. They will share information with others to raise their status.'

3. The Hipster

'The hipster branding refers to a recognized subculture of progressive individuals who embrace individuality above all else. They are people who try first and then share with others.'


4. Boomerang

'The boomerang brand type refers to people who share content and generate interactions simply to create discord through controversy. They do not always agree with the content.'

5. The Connectors

'Connectors are people who pride themselves on their ability to bring people together. They will find validation and satisfaction in others.'

6. The Selective

'The selective is a person that only shares information with specific people. They usually carefully curate information based on general needs and interests of the target audience. They are very resourceful people.'


It will be very interesting to see how an approach will change with new knowledge. The ingredients that went into your effort would include things like your personality, logo, communication methods, customer interaction points, websites, and packaging.

Is it true to you? To find the perfect angle and balance takes time and is key to authentisity and success. What I forgot to mention is that I found out your targeted client has the last say in your approach to marketing too.

Being true to yourself and find your winning recipe within the standard framework of today will be a challenge. Apply all the training and info to suit your model. Not necesarily to be a slave of what the norm is.

Interesting. Have you ever had a professional chart (astrological) reading by a serious astrologer. A lot of this be revealed from your birth chart, focusing on the 10th & 6th houses.

A scorpio but which house is pluto in? Im a sun scorpio, leo moon , cancer ascendant & 10 th house piscies. Each of these has a substantially different influence on us. But typically a sun scorpio (or moon or ascendant) are very hard working & focused.

Could there be ways to implement all the marketing trends of today, I am sure they will differ and not be the same strategy for all like now.
There will be different ways to the story telling, indirect selling methods, not about the product but the benefits for the client, to fit the specific characteristics of each of these personality types to be authentic?

That is the challenge each one should look at..
