When Will I Make Money?

Hello, my WA friends, Today is a blog-worthy day. How many of you here at WA wonder when you will make money? Probably a great majority have asked themselves or someone else, "When will I make money?"

I am not here today to tell you when but to say to you that you can. Because when you make money, is up to you. How much are you willing to put into your new business?

Let me tell you about my newest website to give you an idea of what I mean by that last question.

New Website

On June 26, 2022, I wrote my first post for a new website. I wrote 5 posts a week until I had 30 articles on this site. Then I cut it down to 3 posts a week and published on the same 3 days each week. Consistency is so important.

My only affiliation for this website was Amazon. Through Amazon alone, I have made money. Amazon will not affiliate with a website until you post valuable content, and 30 posts was a good number for me.

Now you are wondering how I did this. I have been doing affiliate marketing for about 6 years now. When I decided that my online business was no different than my day job or a storefront business was the day I began to excel.

About My Journey

Another important piece of information about me is that I started with an inspirational website. It is an amazing website with over 200 posts. Monetizing a website like this isn't easy. I had to decide if that site was an outlet for my thoughts or a way to make money.

Secondly, I ventured into the world of MMO (make money online.) This site has 212 published posts on it. I wrote programs on affiliate marketing, and I offer coaching. But the world of MMO is so saturated it is hard to compete with the big boys. Don't get me wrong; it is doing fine, but still not true affiliate marketing for most of us.

I had a few sites between these 2, but none were the type of affiliate marketing most of us need when we start.

Where Did I Get My Training?

I learned all the initial things about affiliate marketing from WA. So, you and I are in the same boat here. WA is the pivotal key but not the only key. It is important to take your knowledge base a few steps further. 

You can do this in a few ways:

1. Take the extra time to learn from all the seasoned super affiliates here at WA. It really pays off.
2. Search all things on Google. Learn all you can and more.
3. Have a mentor. Over the years, my mentor has been an intricate part of my growth.

Now, remember that just learning is not what it is all about. You also must apply what you learn and then go the extra mile to make it grow.

Back To Making Money

More than likely, you are here at WA to learn. But how many people think that some of the training is not for you and you skip over it? After all, you are here to make money, so you really need to get to it.

First, to have a business, you must learn. OK, enough said about that.

What are the key points to making money?

Here are some important points to having a successful website.

1. Find a good niche – If you want to make money as a newbie, then find a niche with products to promote. My website is on travel and luggage. It is something specific and focused. 
   Find the best keywords possible. Mostly I use Google suggest. Yes, basically the same keyword research that Partha B always talks about. He is not just blowing hot air; he is onto something.
2. Research - Research the article you will write and know what your information is. Whether you feel like it or not, you are an authority in your niche.
3. Keywords - Yes, I talked about keywords in #1, but I am talking about more than one keyword. Look at the top 10 posts on the same subject you are writing about and find what keywords are ranking for them. Then incorporate those words (only where they are appropriate) into your article.
   Do not stuff keywords into your writing that do not fit or pertain to your topic! Now some programs can find keywords for you, but as a beginner starting with no income, the way I mentioned is the best. Google searches for keywords and will place your article on page one of page one when the keywords are relevant to what you write.
4. SEO – Use the best SEO plugin you can find. SEO is so so important. If you pay for anything on your website, choose to pay for a premium SEO plugin. Others have researched, and their plugins will help you set your post up for Google to recognize it.
5. Write and publish and write and publish – Get those keyword-rich articles published! Write to your audience and drive free traffic to your website. Write 50% valuable information posts and 50% promotional posts. This type of content really makes Google happy. And we all love a happy Google.
6. Make a decision – Are you running a business or playing around? I know this sounds harsh, but there is nothing you will do in life that does not require effort. Nothing will produce results unless you make it happen.

Conclusion

You are your business and here to learn a new line of work. You can make it happen if you follow the training and go the extra mile.

It is up to you! It is not the training, research, or writing that makes a website; it is you and how you approach it. And I know you have what it takes!
