Thinking of leaving Wealthy Affiliate?
I've only been with Wealthy Affiliate a couple of weeks. In that time, I have learned so much about making a website, possibly making money from it, and a lot about myself.
As you know I have lupus, and I am a teacher to special education kids. Both of those things combined tend to make up a lot of stressful days. Since I've been with Wealthy Affiliate, I have found an outlet for my Lupus frustration, but trying to keep it as positive as possible. I have also found myself learning new things, and solving my own "tech" issues, but knowing I have a live chat to assist me if I need it.
The people who are on Live Chat are AMAZING! They always help me within a moment's notice, and when I do it incorrectly, they tell me to try a different way. I could never have arrived at this point without their help or without Kyle's videos. I have actually impressed myself with my progress, and I truly enjoy the communication we have here. Even though I'm a newbie, I'm not treated as one, and I appreciate it tremendously. Yesterday, on live chat I we even spoke about one of my students. The student told me my face was fat, and the people on live chat were giving me excellent suggestions for how to deal with the "sweet little innocent child." Lol.
My husband is an athletic director and head basketball coach, so he is frequently away from home. Last year I receive this message from him, "You need to find some interests to give you something to do when I'm busy." Well, "Yes, SIR, I believe I have found what I was looking for." (He still doesn't believe me about Wealthy Affiliate, but I am certain he will like the money I make ~ eventually.)
I've read some comments lately about the monthly premium fee. This issue somewhat disturbs me. I too am on a tight budget, and I haven't made a penny off of my website ~ YET! To anyone who is thinking about dropping Wealthy Affiliate from your budget, I would say ABSOLUTELY NOT! Do everything you can to keep it. Like I said, I haven't made a penny yet, but in my opinion, learning something new, and making something you though was impossible is far more valuable than $47 a month.

Thanks for sharing your inner thoughts. Exhilarating! It is a very motivating read to those who are getting frustrated for non-results. But an opportunity does not happen overtime. It takes patience, persistence and time to nurture a project. All the best and more power to you!

Hi Stacia and I whole heartedly agree with you. In fact, I'm going for a yearly subscription in a few days time because I think I'm going to be here for the long haul! Ches
my husband and I have separate finances for 'discretionary spending' so he doesn't know or need to know about how much I am spending on this. Also he won't really know if I am making money until I am at a point I could quit my daytime job. Wouldn't that be nice? That is the goal though. I'm glad you're staying. :)
Stacia...You are obviously a woman of strength and I have no doubt that you will be a success with WA. Never forget that this community will ALWAYS be there to provide you whatever support you need.

This sounds really bad. It is like a Goodbye from a family member. Now I think I am right (and somebody please correct me if I am wrong) that if you do not continue with the payment you still have access to what you have created. You won't get any more but you can still use the knowledge that you have. This MAY enable you to build your site with content at least. Then you can rejoin and carry on a later date. Another thing. PLEASE do not be discourage by non-believers. (We have discussed this elsewhere) My wife WAS a non-believer in WA due to the fact that I have been HAD so many times by shonky GRQ schemes. So much so that I will not admit how much I spent. When I told my wife about this (and I WAS afraid to) she said that this MUST be OK as 1) I was telling her about it straight away and 2) She could see my enthusiasm. I and WA got her blessing.
