Work smarter not harder
Have you ever thought how you spent your Day ?
Working from home , is not always easy . There are many distractions. Have you calculated ,how many hours a day you are productive and focused , and how many times you are distracted .
Work with a system ...
Identify 3 tasks every day that are most crucial for the day .
Write them down ,and do them first . Time yourself every 30 min. Be aware what distracts you .
Ask yourself
:• Why do you want to be effective?
• What is my goal for today ?
Close all browser windows , put the phone on silence and start focusing on the first task . Time how long you need to full fill this task .
when you are finish start with task two , and than task three . If you need a break in between DON'T.....finish your 3 task first , than take a break .
Having achieved to finish the 3 major task each day , is a big step in the right direction.
Ask yourself what categories the 3 task fit in
TACTICAL: Is this a recurring task? ( am i be able to pay someone to do this task )
STRATEGIC: Is this creating a system or process? Can this build relationships or networks? Is this building a solid future for you?
ACTION ITEM: Write down “TACTICAL” or “STRATEGIC” next to each activity
-Don't allow unimportant things drag you down and draw your attention.
-Time spent browsing Twitter /Facebook , gaming or watching TV and movies can be one of the biggest drains on productivity. ( Time moves fast )
- Put a time limit on your task , don't sit down and think I will finish this today . (Think I will take 2 hours for this task )
- Don't overwhelm yourself when you think of your" To do List"
- - start with a small list and grow the list day by day ( you will be amazed how efficient you can become)
- Make it a Ritual to cross out the things done for that day on your list in the evening , it feels good ....by the end of the day .... you are productive ....
Cheers Sylvia

I had never thought of closing down all browser windows or tabs that aren't part of the task at hand. But, they can be tempting for a distraction. Thanks for this tip. I will do this in the future. It is important to keep on track every day!
So true. personally I gave up TV about 1.5 years ago, mostly. I still watch about 2 hours a month if that. I am having less luck staying off the social medias. Thanks again Spurway
