15 minutes at a Time
Hi Everyone!
So I've been struggling this past week. I have been getting up at 3:30 am to start my day and have not been getting hope until well after 9pm due to this new job and my current car situation. I've been trying to stick to my writing calendar and updating my WA account and keeping my rank up...and I'm not doing so well. This isn't an excuse but an acknowledgement that I need to do better.
Well, right now, the most I can do is 15 minutes at a time. I was about to go to sleep when I said to myself, just write for 15 minutes. So I set my timer for 15 minutes and went to work. I then told myself keep going for another 15 minutes. Then another. Then another.
I'm crawling, you guys. But I swear I will keep moving. I will find a way.
I can't wait to hear about your success!
Samantha

Good to have 15 minutes, 30, then 45 and so on. What a business we have on online. We have to work and work.
Take care of your schedule and don't get overloaded...
Keep moving but keep the pace suitable for you
I understand what you are doing. But be careful or you will change your days into nights and nights into days, I am there now and have to get back to normal some how. Scott
Hello Sparky, life has a funny way of interfering sometimes doesn't it. Just remember, sometimes it's necessary to change your priorities. Trying to keep up is admirable, but killing yourself just to keep your rank makes no sense. Rank is just a number that you can make up for when things get better. You and your family are far more important. Don't you agree? Take a breather if you need to, clear your head, then get back on that horse. Your family and your website will thank you for it.
Hang in there, it will all be worth it. You know, we will go through struggles in life, but if we endure, we will be able to celebrate in the end.
Sounds like you are putting a lot of hours in at work. I wish I had that problem. No really, I've been without a job for a few months now but I'm okay for now. It gives me more to me to focus on my business and WA. You are doing great and your commitment will pay off in the long run. Keep up the good work and do the best you can so you have no regrets. Let me know if you need any help. Cheers!
I'm happy with this new job, but the ultimate goal has always been to find a way to work for myself. Thank you for the offer of help. Just knowing I having an awesome community around to support and uplift me is encouraging.
