Google Assist Mentioned My Website: Okay Google!

I got Google Assist for my son. My son didn’t like the gadget and didn’t want anything to do with after I installed it.
Of course, I wanted to play with it and I started asking it questions.
We Went Nuts
My daughter heard me asking it questions and she joined then we just went all over the place asking all kinds of questions.
We’d ask questions like,
- How many stars are in the sky?
- How do you make money online?
- What is your name?
- Who is Siri
- What do you like to eat
- Tell me a joke?
Sometimes she’d just give an answer and some of her replies would start off “on the website” and then she would mention her answer.
The top website she’d mention was Wikipedia.
So I started to ask her questions within my niche like, okay Google what is Wealthy Affiliate?
Of course, it wasn’t my website she mentioned and I wasn’t expecting that.
Then I asked her question in regards to prodcut reviews I’ve done.
Most of the time she’d say, sorry I can’t help with that yet, but I’m trying to learn.
But I kept asking to see what she’d say.
Then finally she mentions my website. I was like that is pretty cool!
Out of all the questions I asked, I got my website mentioned once, but that one time was exciting for me.

Just so you know, Google Assist didn’t always say, “sorry I can’t help with that yet, but I’m trying to learn.”
Some of the other websites she mentioned were Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp websites. What was pretty cool is that when I looked up the question I asked, some of the website wasn’t even on the first page of Google.
Sometimes they were on the second page of Google.
All of the questions I asked were in the form of, "Okay Google, what is (and then the product name)."
I didn’t say review or is a (product name) a scam.
So it might be a good idea to add a definition to your product reviews if you haven’t done that already.
I Feel Google Assist Should Be One Of Those Business Investments That You Might Need Or Want
If you’re serious about building a business online, you want to stay with the future.
As we all know Google is the top search engine and knowing how or why they selected these websites might help your business.
The reason why I bring that up is not just to see if your website is mentioned, but why she selected those websites?
From my gathering, the websites that were selected really answered the question to what is (the product name).
There Are Other Reasons For This Investment
Also, if you’re researching and looking up info, you can really save time getting answers without spending time looking it up yourself.
All you have to do is just ask! Such as,
Okay Google what is another word for… or Okay Google how do you spell… or how about Okay Google what is the definition of… Here is another one, Okay Google what are the top 5 online businesses…
Another cool thing I did was listen to Podcasts. I haven’t done a single Podcasts as of yet, but it might be a consideration in the future.
I’m pretty sure that a lot of people do listen to Podcast along with music on their home devices and it could be a cool way to build trust with your brand.
To End This
I just dabble into Google Assist. I’ve just started using it a few days ago and untapped some cool stuff.
I know there is a whole slew of things that Google Assist can do.
When I purchased this gift for my son, I didn’t realize I was purchasing something for myself. Luckily my son got other cool gifts that he likes.
What are your thoughts about Google Assist? Do you own one and do you feel the same way as I do?
I would love to read your comments below, thanks!
