7 Years at WA & Belly Fat

I joined Wealthy Affiliate seven years ago. Never in my wildest dreams did I expect that, seven years later, I would be planning content around the phrase "how to lose belly fat." After all, that was the topic of Kyle's sample website. Seven years ago I had a small ranch in Colorado. My first website was about a niche focused on steaks and quality beef. I abandoned that website idea fairly early on and sold the ranch.

Fast forward to today, maintaining my Wealthy Affiliate membership is as important to me as maintaining the wireless plan that comes with my cell phone.

For all practical purposes, my affiliate marketing journey did not go according to my initial plans. Yet, the knowledge, expertise, website hosting, online sales, and friendships that I gained as a result of Wealthy Affiliate are priceless.

As fate would have it, the first website I am getting paid to start from scratch is for someone who has a large ranch with a grass-fed, grass-finished beef operation. Additionally, last fall, after becoming a certified personal trainer, I started a commissioned position for a specialty fitness company that has been in business for over 40 years. After creating Facebook posts for the company for 30 days, I've been given the opportunity to take over the content marketing strategy for three stores in different cities.

Thank you, Kyle, Carson, Jay, Help Desk team, and everyone else working at WA quietly behind the scenes! I would also like to thank the members, such as Eric Cantu, who have posted trainings over the years. (I mention Eric Cantu because I have utilized his classes the most lately. )

Lastly, I appreciate the members of the WA community. Although I have not been actively involved in the community in a while, I believe an active and engaged community is one of WA's best features.

If I could share anything with those of you who are just starting your affiliate marketing journey, it is this: Having your own business is an ever-evolving journey. There will be times when you feel like giving up. However, it helps to remember why you started. Don't give up but be willing to change course if need be. The same advice is true when you are trying to lose belly fat.
