All-in-One SEO Score
I logged into one of my websites today to make a couple of changes and noticed the new AIOSEO Score option in the sidebar. I was like cool!!!
I was testing out YOAST on one of my other websites because it was recommended to me by a friend. I liked it but it takes time to learn new things. I hadn't quite gotten it down and still trying to learn all the neat things it shows in your post.
It gives you an SEO score and you can work to improve it.
I'm excited to see that "All-In-One SEO" is now giving us something visually to see for our posts. This is gonna be fun.
And, if you go down to the bottom of your post, there are a lot of other options to help you make your post more SEO friendly that it didn't have before.
Kudos to "All-In-One SEO" for the upgrades and improvements they are making.
Have fun Y'all.

I haven't investigated this specific score yet, but this type of scoring system (including the one for yoast), I typically turn off and do not pay attention to it. In my opinion, they "gamify" SEO to create a sticky factor for users so they keep using the plugin, but it doesn't necessarily help you rank better.
There will definitely be conflicting opinions on this feature as more people start using it, but just wanted to throw my 2 cents out there!
I appreciate the heads-up to be careful. I haven't upgraded to Pro on any of those plug-ins either.
True there are many free plugins that work well for us all just the usual marketing ploy to gain extra money and most of the time they don't add much to it.
for many of us here the free version is more than adequate and with the new improvement and more to come helps us further without added costs.
