Just got another dedication badge for my WAnniversary. Whoo hoo!!!Been with WA three years now. I have to say I'm not as far a long as I'd like to be but I'm still plugging away when I can. I'm glad I stumbled upon WA while looking for a home-based business. And building my own website was definitely something I was interested in that just fell into place. My husband has even purchased a couple of domain names now and working toward building his websites. Here's to many more years of bu
Funny, I just read my last post dated April 26, 2021, where I was talking about going back to work in the office after working from home for 14 months. I wondered then how things would change. Change they did!!We have been very busy over the last few months, so much so that I have had little time to devote to my sites. I wondered when I went back to work in the office full-time instead of working from home how it would impact my daily routine. I hate to say that it threw a huge kink in it. W
Today is my last day working from home. I have mixed emotions about my return to work. Although I am not happy about the reason I have worked from home for the last 14 months (pandemic), I am happy that I had the opportunity to do so. Our whole office proved that we could do so, and still keep up with the work and take care of our clients. Our firm was able to keep all of our staff and stay somewhat busy. I am glad I have a job and I am not complaining. I am thankful for my job and I enjoy
I guess I'm a slacker!I got a notice this morning that my application for Amazon was denied again because I had not made the qualifying sales for the past 180 days. It is very frustrating to get this message when you work so hard to make sure your links are up-to-date and you are working to make your website what you would like it to be. Just when I feel like I'm making progress - Zap! I do have other affiliate links on my sites but when I am excited about a book or other item and I use the
I just wanted to give a shout out to WA SiteSupport. Anytime I've had any issues with any of my websites all I had to do is contact SiteSupport. They are always on top of the issue and very helpful. When I wanted to move a website and things went awry they were there to help. Once I had a weird instance where a plugin was not working and it messed up my website. They helped me figure it out.Today I wanted to move one of my old sites to a new domain because I didn't really care for the name of
This will be short. I just wanted to say Happy New Year to all of my WA friends. It has been a pleasure to read, laugh, and encourage/be encouraged by you all.We made it to 2021!!! I'm so thankful for the many blessings my Lord and Savior has provided me and I'm thankful for my family and friends...that includes all of my WA friends.May you all be blessed in the New Year!!!
I logged into one of my websites today to make a couple of changes and noticed the new AIOSEO Score option in the sidebar. I was like cool!!! I was testing out YOAST on one of my other websites because it was recommended to me by a friend. I liked it but it takes time to learn new things. I hadn't quite gotten it down and still trying to learn all the neat things it shows in your post. It gives you an SEO score and you can work to improve it. I'm excited to see that "All-In-One SEO" is now gi
I was driving down the road a couple of days ago and I was thinking about things I want to get done to my websites. I was also thinking about how I would like to write a book at some point. I have a lot of ideas but it seems most often I allow other things to get in the way. I procrastinate or I get discouraged. This little voice in my head says you can do this! But then there is another voice that says "don't waste your time, you will never be able to do it." I work a full-time job that ta
I have a dilemma regarding comments I requested and received. I paid for these comments. Some comments I received were just not much at all. I feel cheated in a way. I've considered not approving them but then I feel bad. I don't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I remember last year I drafted a comment for someone on their post for their website. I took time to review the post and I went to other areas of their website too. I drafted what I thought was a qualified and detailed comment. My
It's so awesome to wake up to good news. A couple of days this week I've checked my email and was greeted with "congratulations, your post has been indexed." That is always nice to see. But this morning brought a smile to my face when I received a notice that I had received a 2 year dedication badge. It's my 2 year WAnniversary. Hooray!! I have learned a lot here at Weathy Affiliate and made a lot of connections within the community. WA is such a great place to be. Onward to success!
