I'm 52 years old.
And I had my first smoke when I was 16 ...
And yes, still smoking :(
In fact, this niche has more than 1 billion addicts all over the world, burning their lungs ... and their money ...
Once again, the numbers will speak for themselves ... Here they are provided by CDC ...
- percentage of smokers who want to quit altogether: 70% (!)
- percentage of smokers who will succeed at quitting smoking on their first time: 7%
- percent of people who relapse into smoking while intoxicated with alcohol: 50%
The demand chart for the past 12 months is a "horizontal line" ...
... and the whole world is "affected" ...
And Jaaxy gave me 8,602 AVG searches per month for "quit smoking" ...
No wonder, I found 2,000 "quit smoking" items only on Amazon ... Patches, tea, books, aids, "treatments", gums, apps, electronic cigarettes, oils, herbal cocktails, audio programs, courses, inhalers, aromatherapies, vitamins & supplements, etc.
My conclusion
Smoking is a social habit. When others around are smoking, practically feel like should be doing the same ... this is how it begins ... Since teens see older people all around them smoking, especially their parents and relatives, they smoke to act older.
And nicotine is one of the most addictive substances on earth. Some doctors claim it’s more addictive than heroin and cocaine.
On the other hand, smoking is much less socially acceptable these days ... As you have seen, 70% want to quit ...
But, only 7% will succeed on their first attempt. And many will relapse ...
So yes, it's a truly evergreen niche with a lot of potential.

Yes, I can see this being a evergreen niche. It's hard to quit without using some help.
Quit years ago. Even then it was becoming unacceptable in a lot of places.
Glad to say I managed to give up smoking years ago. I did it for a cancer charity and made 400 for a good cause.
So when are you going to quit smoking, Zed? Maybe you should try this niche yourself so you can encourage yourself to quit.

Hey Zed. Thank you for sharing the niche and your honesty. It will be good to quit smoking totally but can understand that it has become a ‘habit’. Old habits die hard. Lol. Try to quit, it’s good for health and will not burn your lung and money. Ha. Pardon me 😊 Good night or good day to you :o)
I am not a smoker never have been I detested the smell of it on my parents who were both smokers in an age when it was acceptable
I will choose my words carefully here because I am as I get older even more detesting of it and vaping, but I think your figures make interesting reading to be fair

Great Niche to be in, It's cost me 1.5 million open heart surgery well the Insurance Company, And I quit smoking, Now I look at Smoking Hot Women it may be a lot safer.
