Are you jumpy like me
Lost your focus and jumpin all over WA's website, trying to absorb as much as you can. Here, there, and everywhere information and it is all good.
I had to take a time out from WA for a while(not burn out), gotta do what you gotta do type thing. Now I am back and ready to rock and roll. I firmly believe that the Wealthy Affiliate program will lead to success so I am ready to keep on keeping on.
Before my little time out I was working on the Wealthy Affiliate Bootcamp. I think about Phase 2 ish. Well it was great stuff for me, kept me focused and step by step. Well I am getting back to i now and they are on Phase 6. WOW! So I thought I had a lot of catching up to do.
Whoa! wait a minute not really because I always told myself I would go at my own pace, I am in it for the long haul after all(almost poetic). But I could not help myself all that good stuff from Phase 3 to Phase 6.

Well I found myself being what I call jumpy. Here is how it was going, jump over here look at that, no lets go over and chat(not again), no wait a minute jump over there look at that. Oh hey that looks interesting lets jump over there and take a look at that. Hey wait a minute lets try to do them at the same time(dual monitors and all that). Wow you want to talk about being jumpy.
While doing all this I realized I was getting very little done.
So instead of being what I call jumpy I have a piece of paper with FOCUS written on it and taped to the Monitor. Take a look at your plan and complete the task at hand(not again). I think I will even try to come up with other reminders to keep in focus. Background screens, popups, task bar reminder anything. But then again if I focus on completing that task, is that not being what I call jumpy, and out of focus.
Sure there are times when you have to wait on something to finish your task at hand. Go ahead and jump but get back to it. Make it part of your plan and get back to the task ant hand(wow gotta stop).
You know what, taking the time to write this blog when I could be working a website????? Hum mm jumpy?
Anyway bottom line is I can accomplish quite a bit when I FOCUS on one task to the end, and not jump around. Then the next, then the next, and then amazingly remember your plan and see how all of a sudden they all come together. It really gives you a great feeling of accomplishment.
Well you if I haven't lost you by now and you jumped somewhere else how do you stay focused. Maybe you don't have this problem but I think It is hard to stay in FOCUS. After all I bought into the multitasking era.
Oh by the way I think am developing tunnel vision. That might be a good thing in this case.
Take Care, all the best to you and yours, and FOCUS, Focus, focus.
